The Spy

Chapter 46

Alex's POV

     "Well we never really put up decorations for Christmas." Haven said slowly. My eyes narrowed into slits. 

    "That has to change right now. We must make this place beautiful. It's about 5 and if I am staying here until Christmas I have time." I said making mental plans in my head.

    "It's okay little one. We don't have to do anything. It will be just to much work and I don't want to tire you out." Jacob said coming up to me and wrapping his arms around me. I pushed him off and crossed my arms.

    "If I am going to be here there has to be decorations. Haven you need to get a Christmas tree. You and Jacob set it up, I will take Allie to the store with me to get decorations." I said with a smile. Jacob just raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. My eyes narrowed into slits once again.

    "Go now. I don't have all day and this is hard work." I said walking up the stairs and to Allies room. Without knocking I just walked in. She was sitting on her bed with her phone in her hand. Her head instantly snapped to me and she looked angry at first until she saw it was me. 

    "Get up. We are going shopping." I said. A smile quickly formed on her lips and she jumped up running to her closet. It took her a few minutes to change before she walked out with her purse. She grabbed my arms and practically dragged me down the stairs. She was about to pull me out of the house but we were quickly stopped by Jacob.

    "Come here quickly." He told me. Allie groaned wanting to leave but let go anyway. I walked over to Jacob and as soon as I got in arms reach he pulled me straight into his chest. Quickly he bent down and planted a kiss onto my lips. I smiled into the kiss. I pulled away and looked up at him. He smiled down at me and planted another kiss to my lips. 

    "Have fun with my sister, she loves her shopping. Stay safe and be careful. I don't want anything to happen to either of you two." He said sternly. I nodded with a smile. I backed away from him and was instantly pulled out of the door my Allie. I laughed and got into the car. 

    After what felt like years we got back to Jacob's. Jacob wasn't lying when he said his sister loves shopping. She had to look at every single thing. By the time we were done my leg was in a lot of pain. I didn't care because I was beyond excited to start decorating. I swear if these boys don't have a tree up they are dead. 

    Walking into the house there wasn't a single sound. I looked around suspiciously. With all of the decorations I walked into the livingroom. I smiled as I saw Haven and Jacob asleep leaning against each other on the couch. I heard the slight click of a camera and turned to Allie who had her phone out. She just shrugged and left the room. 

    The whole time I was working the boys slept. I didn't care so it would be a surprise to them. I was even decorating around them, not once did they wake up. Olive, Allie, and I all decorated the tree. Heck Olive dropped a glass ornament and it shattered and they didn't wake up. 

    After 4 hours of working we were finally done. A few times Maxwell and Drew would come in and help set ornaments up that were to high for us short people to reach. Being 5'2 isn't always the best thing. The boys still were dead asleep which I could not understand.

     "Should we prank them?" Olive said innocently. Allie and I looked at her with our mouths open. Olive was always a shy sweet girl. I never would have thought she would want to do a prank. I mean that is a good idea. I think Allie agrees because of the look on her face. 

   Quickly we decided that we will take the squirt guns that Allie keeps in her room and spray them with them. Jacob is gonna end up killing us but I don't really care, this is gonna be funny. The three of us lined up in front of the couch that they were sleeping on. With a count down of three we were ready.

"1..." I said quietly.

"2..." Olive said.

"3..." Allie said. 

    As soon as Allie said three we began shooting. The two boys shot up confused as to why they were getting wet. Their head snapped up to the three of us who were still spraying them. Jacob's eyes narrowed at me. If looks could kill I would be 6 feet under. I gulped and dropped my gun as soon as Jacob stood up, along with Haven.

    "Run!" I yelled sprinting out of the room, the others following behind me. I could hear the heavy footsteps of the boys behind us. I heard a scream so I am guessing one of the two got caught. I could still hear the pounding footsteps of someone running after me. I opened the back door quickly sliding out. I looked around the yard to see where I should go I bolted around to the other side of the pool. 

    Jacob walked out of the back door glaring at me. He slowly started walking towards me. I gulped and looked for an escape. I thought of one but then I remembered there is a fence around this whole place. Shoot. I am screwed. 

    "You know it's not nice to wake people up from their sleep. Especially when it's with water." He said walking around the other side of the pool so he was almost face to face with me. I gulped again, a small amount of fear washed over me. 

     "Well I wanted you to see how I decorated the house.... It was all Olives Idea!" I yelled. 

       "Hey don't expose me!" She yelled being back by Haven. Allie was being held back by Drew. Jacob just rolled his eyes.

    "Alex run! You can't get caught like us!" Allie yelled. I rolled my eyes. Jacob slowly started walking towards me with an evil smirk. My eyes widened. I turned on my heels and bolted away from him. I heard his footsteps nearing me quickly, oh no. Before I knew it I was lifted up into the air, making me squeal like a pig. 

     "Caught you." Jacob said pulling me straight to his chest. I looked up at him pouting. He rolled his eyes and leaned down pressing his lips to mine. I smiled into the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck.

    "Ew guys! Get a room!" Drew yelled letting go of Allie. I just laughed and rested my head against his chest. I could get used to being like this.
