Alex's POV

I sprang up on the bed with a smile on my face. I looked around the bedroom to see it was still dark outside, but you could see the sun rising slightly. I looked down to see Jacob's arm draped across my waist. I slowly reached down and tore his arm off of me. I slid out of his grip replacing me with a pillow. I grabbed onto my prosthetic leg and attached it to my thigh. He didn't realize and pulled the pillow close to him. I smiled and quietly walked out of the room.

Today is Christmas! I plan on making breakfast for everyone. I might make some pancakes and bacon. That sounds good.

I walked down the stairs quietly. When I was downstairs I froze when I heard crying. I scrunched my eyebrows together and walked into the living room where I heard the crying coming from. Sitting on the ground in front of the Christmas tree was Olive. She had her head in her arms and her knees pulled tight to her chest.

"Hey whats wrong?" I said kneeling down by her. She looked up at me with tear stained cheeks. It made my heart hurt looking at her like this. I quickly pulled her to me so her head was on my lap and I was playing with her hair to calm her down.

"All of those years I was gone I wish I could have an actual Christmas." She said crying some more. I nodded and continued to try and calm her down.

"They told me that Jacob was never going to find me in time." She cried.

"You are here now. You are safe." I said soothingly. She just looked at me and shook her head.

"They are coming Alex. They are coming to kill us all. They wont stop until I am dead, along with all of you. You got pulled into this by saving me. They wont stop Alex." She said looking at me dead in the eye.

"It is Christmas. Don't worry about it today. We can worry tomorrow. Come with me, I am gonna be making breakfast for everyone." I said with a small smile. She nodded and stood up, me following after. Before I could take a step I was pulled into a hug.

"Thank you Alex. Thank you for saving me from that horrible place." Olive said hugging me tightly. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her, hugging her back.

Cooking the meal was actually pretty fun. Olive turned on Christmas music quietly and we danced around the kitchen. It didn't take long for the food to be done. Olive and I set the table while talking about random stuff. I looked over at the clock to see it was about 8:30. I smiled and turned back to the girl who was almost drooling over the food.

"You go get Allie, Haven, Drew, and Maxwell, then I will get Jacob, because you and I both know how mad he would be if I tried to wake up any one else." I said with a laugh. She nodded and laughed.

"Also don't let them eat yet. If any of them try to eat smack them. I give you permission." I said with a smile. She nodded and followed me upstairs. She slid into Allie's room while I made my way down the hall to Jacob's. I pulled open the door to see him still dead asleep cuddling the pillow closely to him. He was laying on his back with the pillow on his side. I smiled and walked over to him quietly.

Carefully I sat on his stomach and smiled down at him. He didn't move so I am guessing he is still asleep. I leaned down and pressed my lips to his nose. Then his cheeks. I was basically doing what he did to me a little while ago. When he still lay their still I frowned. I leaned down and kissed him on the lips. Instantly his lips moved against mine, his hands shooting up and rested on my hips, holding me in place.

I rolled my eyes and pulled away. I looked down to see Jacob wide awake looking at me with a smug grin.

"Were you awake the whole time I was doing that?" I asked.

"Maybe." He said which made me roll my eyes once again. He just smiled up at me.

"You know if you roll your eyes enough they might roll out of your head." He said. This just made me roll my eyes again. He leaned up and connected his lips to mine again. It was a short kiss though.

"What is that smell?" He asked. I smiled and jumped off of him grabbing his hand. I pulled him up and basically dragged him downstairs. I pulled him into the dining room where all the others are. Olive and Haven are currently having a glare contest, while Allie looks like she was about to pass out. Drew and Maxwell sat there looking amused at the two that are glaring at each other. Olive turned to me with a smile.

"They wanted to eat but don't worry I made sure they didn't eat anything." Olive said sitting down next to Allie. I smiled at her and nodded. I dragged Jacob over to a chair and made him sit. I stayed standing and waited for everyone to stop talking.

"What is all this?" Jacob asked.

"Well before my parents died we had a family tradition that we did every year for Christmas. Since my parents are no longer here I had no one to do it with until now." I said with a small smile.

"Every Christmas morning as I can remember my mom made pancakes and bacon. Then she made her nutmeg sugar cookies. No one knew the recipe for the cookies except for me. So I made those as well. I really hope you guys like the food. The pancakes are also home made how my mother taught me." I said with a huge smile. I motioned for them to eat. Almost instantly Haven dug into the pancakes.

"Oh my gosh. These are the best pancakes I have ever had!" Haven gushed shoving his face more. I laughed and watched the others reactions.

"Why aren't you eating?" Allie asked me after a few minutes. I shrugged.

"I didn't make any for myself." I said bringing my glass of orange juice up to my lips. The whole room went silent. Jacob's smile went flat into a straight line.

"Why not?" Haven asked. I just shrugged again.

"Well we ran out of the pancake mix and the bacon I wanted you all to have enough." I said with a smile. They all just looked at me with no emotion.

"Come here." Jacob finally said breaking the silence. I walked over to him and stood by his side. His arm swooped around my waist pulling my onto his lap. A blush went over my cheeks. He cut his pancake with his fork then picked up the tore of piece. He brought it up to my mouth.

"Open you mouth." He said. I looked around the room to see everyone watching us silently. I did as told and opened my mouth. He put the piece of pancake in my mouth then sat his fork down. Slowly I chewed the food and swallowed it. Everyone smiled and started eating once again.

Jacob continued to feed me like this, sometimes taking bites himself, until the plate was empty. As the others finished Jacob rested his head in my neck while his arms were wrapped securely around me. I leaned into him, a smile rested on my lips.

"So what now?" Haven asked. I just looked at him and smiled.

     "Presents." I said.
