Author's Note:
This idea is inspired by a book called In 27 Days by HonorInTheRain. I've always thought about what I would do if I could get a repeat and if no one would remember my actions. Again, this is a romance idea so if you like writing romance, send me a message and give me credit if you do write a book for it.
9 More Chances:
They say good things happen to good people. Too bad that doesn't apply to Ella Mourey. Ella has terminal cancer. And she has a week to live. Ella figured she could just make the most of the time she has and deal with it. Oh how media has poisoned the minds of the children, taking YOLO just a tad too far.
Too bad Ella was pure. Too pure. Pure enough for Lucifer, Traitor of God, to take an interest in her. He offers her a deal. She will serve him in Hell as his wife and in return, her family will be able to live luxuriously without pain. As a treat, she can relive one day of her life 9 times in order to create some good memories, for you'll need some memories of happieness in order to survive in Hell. Her plan was to do some things she would never have done otherwise, for no one would remember the next day anyway.
What Ella wasn't planning was to fall in love. Especially not with the social pariah, Noah Danara. Who knew a simple mistake like leaving your book in the library could lead to discovering a whole other side of the supposed bad boy. With only 9 days left to live, Ella tries her best to ignore her heart but when she finds out that Noah remembers, she's intrigued. Lucifer said that no one, at least no one that mattered, would be able to remember. So how does Noah know that something was out of place, and that Ella was behind it all. Not only that, but Ella's now has another set of choices, fall in love and risk the chance of heartbreak, or decline her feelings and live a life of being the Devil's wife.
Yes I know. This sounds horribly cliche but some ideas just beg to be written. Here's a scene that I've thought of:
Noah's P.O.V
I swear that the day started over again. Not that I don't mind acing my geometry test but having to deal wtih that girl -what's her name? Oh yeah, Bianca- is very tiring. Some people just can't take a hint.
Anyway, somehow, the day started over again. The same people are wearing the same clothes and making the same jokes and acting the same way. All of them except for that cheerleader, Ella. They way she was looking at everyone and the way she spoke made one think that she knew something you didn't. And that was frightening. Not to mention I have never seen such brilliant blue eyes. Over all, she was a beautiful person, which is why I'm surprised she hasn't gotten herself in trouble. Yet.
When she ran into me -literally- in the library, I couldn't believe the amount of sadness in her eyes. It was enough to make a rock sob in sympathy. Stunned, I had just stared into those sapphire blue eyes, forgetting who I am and wishing that that moment would never end. But then, she cut her gaze away with a slight blush and hurried to class, leaving me staring after her like a fool.
Yes, the repeat of today definitely had something to do with her. I just had to find out how.
