My Bestfriend

Chapter 1

We pulled up along a beautiful house, I admired it with a smile but I still haven't been told why I am here.

"Come on sweetheart we are here" I heard my dad say.

My mum and dad had won a trip to Florida for the whole summer so they said that an old friend offered to take care of me, I was grateful but also nervous, I didn't know these people what happens if they are rude?

As I hopped out the car my mum and dad had already dropped my suitcases off at the door! As I walked up to the big brown door my parents stood behind me, my mum whispered in my ear that everything is going to be okay, I turned my head and smiled at her. In reality I was thinking to myself, it's five in the morning who is going to be up at this hour, I was really tired all of the sudden and yawned.

The door opened and a friendly familiar face opened the door.

"Hi Will, this is Sophia, Soph say hi!"

"Hi, I'm sorry but your Will Smith? Like THE Will Smith?"

"Yup!" he smiled "Come on in!"

"We can't stay long as our flight is in a couple of hours and we like to get there early" my dad said.

As I walked into the house I admired its hallway, the floor was a wooden brown and the walls were covered in photos, I squinted at one, it looked like my parents, I turned my head towards them to ask but they were talking, I heard my dad say that I needed to sleep now as I hadn't slept very much last night, I scuffed a laugh and put my bags down at the end of the hallway.

"Sophia sweetie, call me tonight or text me" my mum called I nodded and Will smiled at me, I smiled back. I heard footsteps behind me and saw Jada come down she had a black vest top on which was paired with black jeans, she said hello and gave me a hug.

"Good morning Sophia we have heard so much about you and let me tell you, I'm glad that your here" she smiled welcomingly. She went off to talk to my parents, I awkwardly stood at the end of the hallway.

"Okay, well we are going to have to shoot as we need to get to the airport, look after our girl" my mum said to Jada. As everyone exchanged hugs I walked towards the door to say goodbye.

"Bye, darling" my dad had said kissing my forehead, he then whispered in my ear that once I've unpacked I should get some sleep.

Will took my bags upstairs for me whilst Jada offered me some breakfast, as I ate my toast she asked me questions and updated me on what she was doing today.

Once everyone was awake I will be introduced, this made me nervous as I never enjoy being the centre of attention. People at school knew me as the one with no voice or the shy one.

She also said that her and Will would be out until 9pm today as they had an important meeting, I assured her that I would be fine on my own.

I had now finished my breakfast and I washed my plate dried it and put it away.

"Um, Jada would it be alright if I started to unpack now?"

"Sure let me show you to your room"

She led me up some swirly stairs and walked me down a long hallway, as we arrived at a door she walked and talked me through what all the doors led to, I was trying to take it in but it was too early in the morning so most of the time I smiled and nodded.

I was now alone in my new room and it was beautiful, the floor was a light brown, wooden. It was a double bed with white fresh, crisp sheets on it and the wardrobes were bright white! All my suitcases were piled up in the corner. Jada then left me to unpack.

As I opened the first suitcase I suddenly desperately needed to go to the toilet, I walked extremely fast out of my bedroom and looked for the bathroom! Luckily the last person who was in the bathroom left the door open so it was easy to tell where it was.

As I came out, I felt like I had lost my sense of direction, I could hear Jada and Will speaking, and I didn't want to bother them so I started to walk down the hallway again. I came face to face with a door and just in case I quietly and slowly opened it, I saw someone sleeping. I quickly bopped my head back round the door and closed it, after what felt like ages I just sat on the floor and gave up, Will came up the stairs looked at me and laughed, as he walked towards me he said "You alright? Lost?"

"Yeah I'm fine and that is exactly what I am" I smiled

"Here let me help you, it is always five doors from the left of the stairs" he had finally reached me and pulled me up, he had walked me to the door and said that him and Jada would be leaving in an hour. He then left me to unpack again.

I have now unpacked two suitcases and have put the suitcases away, Jada and Will left around 20 mins ago, they told me that Willow and Jaden were home, but I haven't seen them!

I went downstairs to explore a bit and found a room which contained a grand piano, I couldn't help myself. I walked in and sat down on the stool and started to play, when I had finished I had felt very sleepy!

I walked into this room which looked like the living room, I sat on the sofa and felt myself slowly falling asleep ...
