Taehyung's feelings had hit him like a brick, every night he was dreaming about being able to call Yoongi his and he couldn't take it anymore.

It didn't help that when Yoongi finally decided to pick a movie that Taehyung had just spent those hours staring at the vampire instead. The movie was quite boring, black and white, no sound… Yeah, Yoongi was definitely the more entertaining view to look at.

Can you blame him? No you can't.

So eventually Taehyung decided to muster up all of his courage and stepped up to Yoongi. The vampire raised his brow at the visibly nervous man standing in front of him. "Are you alright?" Yoongi asked, making Taehyung gulp. No, he wasn't.

"I'm fantastic." He lied through his teeth, despite Yoongi picking up on the lie, he still decided to drop it. "I have something to tell you." Taehyung confessed, his nerves increasing with every word that managed to slip out.

He can't do this, Yoongi probably doesn't even want him. I mean, look at him, he could get anyone, why would he go for a mortal? 

Taehyung pushed away those horrible thoughts. No, Yoongi isn't like that. He has never frowned upon the fact that Taehyung is a mortal, he only frowns on the mundane lifestyle. Which is admittedly less luxurious and adventurous as the Killer vampire's lifestyle, so fair enough.

"Earth to Taehyung, you there?" Yoongi waved his hand in front of Taehyung's face, snapping him out of his thoughts. "Hm?"

"You said you needed to tell me something and then you fell silent." The vampire's arms folded over each other, his patience getting tested. Luckily for Taehyung, Yoongi has a lot of it. 

"I like you" Taehyung quickly spluttered out. "Like, a lot." 

The tall man quietly awaited Yoongi's answer, the vampire's face not betraying any emotion. Until that familiar soft smile made it's way on his face, not long after that followed the little sparkles in his eyes that appeared whenever he was happy. Yes, Taehyung had noted this about Yoongi a long time ago, and he adored it ever since then. "I like you too." Yoongi admitted, knocking a breath of relief out of Taehyung's lungs.

"Really?" The mundane spoke, he wasn't too sure, maybe Yoongi was just trying to be nice.

Okay no he knew the vampire was whipped, he just wanted that extra confession. "Yes, really." Taehyung's eyes mirrored Yoongi's and quickly started reflecting the candle lights from within Yoongi's office. 

Taehyung turned into an excited little puppy, pulling Yoongi close into a tight hug. "You can't imagine how happy I am to hear that."

"I think I have a pretty good idea." Yoongi chuckled, patting Taehyung's back before releasing from the hug. The mundane looked down at the shorter vampire, he truly was the most gorgeous man Taehyung had ever laid his eyes on.

Well, everyone in that house was handsome as fuck but nobody even came close to the natural charm Min Yoongi possessed. 

Taehyung smiled before his eyes flickered to Yoongi's doll-like lips. The man slowly leaned down, easing into it so that Yoongi could stop him if he went too far.

But he wasn't stopped, instead Yoongi went onto his tippy toes to connect their lips earlier than Taehyung expected. No complaints, of course.

There was nothing faul or raunchy about the kiss, It was pure and a perfect reflection of their feelings for one another. A seal of love, trust and respect.

This kiss served as an explanation that just simply wouldn't have been done justice if it had been said by words.

Yoongi's slender fingers briefly entangled with Taehyung's curls before he let it fall back to his side. The mundane swore he was starting to melt like Olaf next to a fireplace, Yoongi was definitely worth melting for. He won't tell him though, he won't get the reference. But that's just another thing Taehyung adored about him, how the simplest things flew over his head simply because he refuses to modernize himself. 

There's a charm to his ancient ways, and Taehyung is willing to learn about it.

They broke their kiss, just staring at each other's eyes. No words had to be exchanged, everything had been made clear.

This was the start of their era.
