"Thank you so much, Kina. You're a great help" Debra hugs me next to the trunk of her car where we had carefully placed her cake and decor for the carnival tonight.

"Oh it's not a problem at all" I return her hug before pulling away and sending her a sweet smile.

"Welp I better get going and begin setting up. Hopefully I'll see you there?"

"Definitely" I nod as she closes the trunk and begins walking towards the drivers side.

"Great! It will be a blast tonight, I'm sure of it" she nods confidently.

"I bet" I step onto the path beside the road and watch as she hops into her car and winds down the window.

"Wish me luck" she grins.

"Good luck!" I wave as she drives off. I then make my way towards my car.

It was way too hot today, especially now that it's midday. Maybe I should go swimming when I get home. It was a bright sunny day for it too.

On my way home, I think about how the last three days I haven't seen Archie once. I guess he's just taking some time to himself after everything that happened with Harry.

Sighing, I finally pull into my driveway and hop out. Locking my vehicle as the hot summer air wraps around my body and engulfs me fully. I already feel myself sweating as I walk towards my front door wearing simple denim shorts and a plain black shirt.

Opening my front door, it's the same routine of taking my shoes off, greeting Whiskers and walking upstairs to only change out of my clothes and into something cooler, that being my bikini.

As I grasp my beach towel I hear my phone begin to ring and frown as I walk towards it sat on my desk. I notice Liam is calling me but I don't really think much of it and answer. "Hey."

"Hey Kina! What are you up to?" He asks as music blares in the background. Voices speaking over him before they become muffled and his voice is much clearer to hear. He must've found a quiet area to speak.

"Just about to go for a swim" I reply, as I walk downstairs. Liam was a sweet guy, so I wasn't surprised why he was calling me. He always rings to see how I am or what I'm up to.

When I begin to make my way towards the staircase, I hear him speak. "Oh sweet! I'm actually having friends over right now. Everyone is swimming and we're listening to some music. Do you want to come over? Everyone is here!"
