"Don't listen to that GPS son, turn left here and take two more rights. It's much quicker." Mr Winston speaks from the back seat as his hand covers the mic of his ear piece where a person on the other line awaits.

I nod after glancing at him through the review mirror. "Not a problem, Sir." I take his directions and feel a bit more relieved now that we're moving. We were sitting in bumper to bumper traffic and my god was it a headache hearing the constant beeping and shouts from short tempered drivers.

Pulling to a stop in front of his hotel, I park and hop out of the car to open the door for Mr Winston. He thanks me quickly before speaking into his ear piece obnoxiously. I make my way over the trunk and take his baggage out to hand to the employees of the extravagant hotel Mr Winston is staying at.

Once everything is unpacked, I check my watch to see that it's now four in the afternoon and my shift is over. So I hop in the car and make my way back to work to drop my work vehicle off and clock out.

It's about a half hour drive there but I reach it in no time by taking some short cuts. When I arrive, I greet the security guard at the gate who buzzes me in. I then park and rush for the touch screen at the door of the office. I type in my employee ID and clock out.

I then walk towards my very own car that I had received on my sixteenth birthday. Dad had dropped it off for me as the rental I was driving around had to be returned. I was kind of ecstatic to know that my parents still kept my car even after all these years.

It was the first present my parents had got me that actually made me happy. I remember how they came rushing into my room with a birthday card and a small wrapped box. I was so upset when they woke me up as I had only just gotten to sleep after a big night of depressed thoughts and anxiety keeping me up. But it did make me feel a little better to know I had a birthday present waiting to be unwrapped.

My parents weren't all that bad when it came to birthdays. It was actually the only day of the year where I felt special because they didn't baby Archie as much and instead focussed on the birthday boy..that being me.

I was so excited to get my license and finally drive after seeing my new car but I never even got to sit behind the wheel because well...I think we all know what happened after my suicide attempt.

Shaking the negative thoughts away from my mind, I decide to drive to Kina's house to show her my car. It was a restored classic nineteen-seventy-two Ferrari Dino in yellow that my Father snagged at a really hot price.

I think at that time, I was so surprised that he even thought of buying me such a beautiful car but the poster on my wall probably gave away how much I loved the vehicle. It was a classic for sure and it amazes me that I haven't had any complications with it yet.

After driving for a solid hour to Kina's place I pull up outside to see her already sitting on the front porch wearing a yellow sun dress with white heels. I raise my eyebrows, what a coincidence she's wearing yellow.
