"GOOD MORNING, Will." Phoebe greets with a smile as she enters the Byers house. She stared down at the slightly shorter boy and stared at his costume. He was one of the ghostbusters and he looked unbelievably, adorable.
"You look amazing, Will. I love the costume." Phoebe compliments which made the little boy's eyes light up. Even though he was young and Phoebe was double his age. He has a massive crush on the blonde. Who doesn't?
"Thanks, Pheebs." He smiles, giving her a hug. Phoebe knew that Will had a crush on her, which she playfully used against him and Johnathan bothered him most of the time with it.
"Where's Johnathan? Does he not know we're going to be late? I'm trying to make it to school on time today." Phoebe calls out as she looks around the house and spots a cheerful brunette running up to her.
"Phoebe! Hey!" Joyce chirps, running up to Phoebe with her arms opened wide.
"Hey, Joyce. How are you doing?" Phoebe questions, releasing the hug. She watches Joyce enter the kitchen and followed her.
"I'm doing good. Slowly getting there." She mumbles, with her head low. Joyce was still traumatized from all the things that occurred last year. It hit her the most because it was her child that went missing.
Phoebe releases a sigh and walks up to Joyce. She placed a hand on her shoulder which made Joyce lift her head up. "Hey, everything is going to be fine. Just know I'm here to help if anything." She speaks. Joyce nods and she pulls the blonde in for another hug.
"Thank you. I really appreciate it, Phoebe." Joyce said, tightening the hug just a little.
"Woah, what did I miss here?" A voice chimes in, catching both of their attention. The two women looked and saw Johnathan leaning on the door frame of the kitchen.
"You missed nothing, J. Now let's head out, dingus or else we'll be late." Phoebe states. She walks towards the oldest Byers and drags him out of the house by his arm. The two of them got into Johnathan's car and he drove off to the high school.
Phoebe looked out the window and couldn't help but think about this morning events. Eleven wanted to go trick or treating so bad with the other kids. Phoebe and Hopper both knew she really wanted to leave to see Mike, but Hopper wouldn't allow. He didn't want to expose her to any danger. Phoebe couldn't help but feel so bad for Eleven. She just wants a normal kid's life. Hanging out with her friends, going to the arcade, and going to school, but she can't have any of that with those evil people out there wanting to capture her.
