Through the trees with the sun on the horizon, Isaac could see the wooden fence outline surrounding his land. He hopped over it and walked casually through the field to the house with his friends, describing the house layout to them as they went. The white home itself housed five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a full attic that served as his "zen" room for his yoga and martial arts practice. Attached to the house was a greenhouse to grow vegetables, flowers, herbs, and spices year round. The other side of the greenhouse connected to a two car garage with a small workshop and storage attic. On the outside of the garage there was a basketball hoop and paint lining on the driveway that made half of a basketball court to accommodate his love for the sport.

Roughly fifty or so yards away from the house was a small red wooden barn prepared to store farming equipment. Though he had never tended crops, Isaac's plans were to farm some of the property to maintain his own food supply and save whatever was left over for storage or give it away to his friends and family, though he hadn't yet invested into the farming equipment. Maybe if I get good enough at it, I'll open a farmers stand at the top of the street and sell some things for fun. That would be pretty cool. Lastly, to give it that true farm feel, he had a classic brown wooden fence built lining the driveway and around his chunk of land.

After years of thought and careful planning, Isaac chose to make a house with low impact on the environment and also with complete self sufficiency for modernization. With persistent searching, Isaac found a contracting company that specialized building houses out of recycled material to build the house, greenhouse, barn, and garage. He also took this recycling idea further by having solar panels installed on his roof for his electrical needs, and instead of relying on public services to provide water and sewage, the house ran off the two wells and had a new septic tank installed.

As he walked through the field, for a moment in his mind he had a vision of growing crops, trees coming to life, thriving fruits, grains, and vegetables spreading in the plains surrounding the large walnut tree. I can't wait to start cultivating this land. He chanted Om in his mind and blessed this land, all while smiling at its potential.

When they arrived at the house, half of his friends went to set up the kitchen for tonight's dinner, and the others half snuck away to play a short game of basketball. Isaac however immediately went inside to splash some water on his face in the bathroom. He took a moment, staring deep into the mirror searching within his cool gray colored eyes. This is reality. You're here. Now.

Lingering thoughts continued to seep into his mind searching for some kind of explanation of what had just happened to him, but he came up with nothing. Does it mean the earth is going to go through an enlightening period and then back into the dark ages or something? The more he weighed on it, the less sense it made. He splashed water on his face one more time, looked into the mirror and took a deep breath. "Let it go, Isaac. Just let it go for now." He dried off his face and went into the kitchen to join the party.

Warren had set up the deep fryer on the concrete slab back porch and had dropped the turkey in. It was an annual tradition for these friends to get together to eat a deep fried turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing, buttered biscuits, corn on the cob, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and more. It was something Isaac looked forward to every year, but it wasn't just the food that made those nights great, it was the friends he surrounded himself with that gave life to those parties.

While Warren was taking care of the turkey outside, Arthur, Paul, and Rob were preparing the rest of the night's dinner in the kitchen. The room was modern with white walls, dark wooden floors, had a white farmers sink, light wood polished counters and cabinets, and had wide bay windows on the walls providing a great view of the field and trees.
