"JESUS CHRIST?! What was that?!?" Larry yelled loudly.

"I think... I think I just saw two planes bomb the Airport..."

"What?!" He shouted rising up from the bed.

Isaac eased his way back to the window after collecting himself. Black clouds gathered together rapidly, covering the atmosphere in an ominous sky. "Good God, come look at this." He said to his father.

"Jesus..." For a moment the father and son peered out the window into the sky. The sky darkened completely with thick gray and black clouds, shading all light from the earth. Slowly, the view of the sun was swallowed behind the darkness. Thunder roared with booms so loud the house began to tremble. Without breaking eye contact from outside, Larry advised, "We should get downstairs. Now."

Isaac carried Adam down the stairs as Larry slowly followed behind. Isaac walked in the living room to see his friends and family gathered around the television and windows, some with their eyes glued to the news on the television or their smartphones while others looked out into the stormy skies. The time on the television read quarter till three and the bottom ticker of the screen headlined, Breaking News: Several Dead As Terrorist Airstrikes Hit Across the Globe.

Isaac and his father walked in during the middle of a news anchor giving a live report. "-nearing what we believe to be at least three hundred air raids taking place, striking military bases and other targeted locations in the United States and others countries across the world. We have no reports to who is responsible for this massively coordinated terrorist attack. Everyone is advised to stay indoors in a safe and secure location as Martial Law has been declared by President McCollough. More information will be made available as soon as we have it."

"You seeing this?" Sean asked Isaac, his brown eyes full of dread.

The bottom ticker continued to pour information of areas across the world affected by the bombings, alerting warning signs of a terrorist attack in progress. Footage of Washington D.C. was the headline. The White House, along with the city, was burning.

"Shit..." Isaac gasped. "I think I just saw two of those planes bombing CVG. That's what those booms were."

"Is everyone inside? Who else is expected to come?" Larry asked Isaac.

Isaac did a quick headcount. "Yeah everyone's inside. I'm not expecting anybody else to show up for at least another hour." He leaned over towards the window again and took another moment to watch the converging clouds that discharged static as they formed together. He was startled when the clock on the hallway wall struck 3:00PM. Abruptly, the dark sky slowly wept a thick black rain on the earth. "What the hell is that?" he asked, eyes glued to the clouds. As the rain picked up, visibility lessened, Isaac could hardly see ten feet ahead of him.

Before Isaac had noticed, the entire party was staring out the windows witnessing the phenomenon with him. The tension in the room exponentially grew with the storm. Tiny clashes and pings could be heard hitting against the side of the house and the windows. The frequency of clashing picked up as hail fell from the sky, the tiny pellets rhythmically tapped menacingly against the windows.

"Jesus! What's happening?!" Natalie cried.

"Stay away from the windows!" Larry yelled. "We need to move to the basement right now." His voice sounded hoarse and troubled. The moment he suggested to move to the basement, six huge strikes of lightning flashed powerfully in the distance. Flickers of light could be seen through the thick black clutter of raindrops, and all were followed by thunder roaring deafeningly loud.

Isaac's cat Adam grew increasingly nervous and jumped from his arms, sprinting for the basement first. He turned back to the television and glanced at the split screen footage of the four cities on the news, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Beijing, all burning. Huge chunks of hail the size of softballs fell from the sky, breaking windows of buildings and car windshields, smashing glass and shards of hail all across the streets. "Good God, it's happening everywhere. Look."
