Chapter 20: Educational Experience
Ghawou's eyelids lifted slowly and as his vision adjusted to the light. He coughed and looked around to figure out where he was. It was a private medical bay in Teporia's castle, the only one close to her personal chamber. If he was here and not at the bottom of Vahemorian waters he could deduce that the plan went was successful and Teporia was safe. Ghawou smiled and the door to his room swung open immediately.
"Ghawou, get your ass up. Vi have a job for you," Teporia rushed and through him a red tunic, pants, and a pair of black slip-on shoes. "Okay? What is it?"
Moments later, they knocked on a door in the lower part of the castle and Kaga opened it.
"Aw fuck," Ghawou complained.
"Aw fuck, what?" Kaga asked.
"You have a problem with educating humans, Ghawou?"
"No, vi don't care what they are. It's their imageon that's the problem."
"What are you two talking about?" Aapti asked.
"Well as requested by Eyawa, vi have appointed Ghawou to begin your Imageon training while she runs a few errands."
"We finally get to learn it!?"Aapti jumped joyfully.
"Yes, you do. After all, we could possibly expect you to survive any further without at least a basic understanding of the stuff. Anyway, Ghawou, their all yours," Teporia smiled, patted him on the back, and left.
Ghawou, Orunya, Aapti, and Kaga all looked at each other before Ghawou finally spoke.
"Alright humans, meet me outside."
Meanwhile...
Eyawa arrived at Mosvire stables with her eyes shifting amongst the beasts.
"Which one, which one?" Eyawa pondered with her hands on her hips.
"Oh umm, excuse Ms. Nuwa, we won't be taking mosvires on this mission," a small and familiar voice spoke.
Eyawa turned and saw a vahemorian lotaness with dove gray skin and a small masquerade reminiscent layer of bone about her face that was colored gray, white, and silver. She wore a basil green dress that was tight over her hourglass figure and a black and dark red striped hijab with small yellow spikes riddled throughout.
"Aclauja?" Eyawa's brow furrowed.
"Yes, that me." she waved and smiled.
"You know we're most likely going to be fighting, right? Where's your armor?"
"This is my armor, watch," Aclauja explained and suddenly the dress and hijab began to change colors and shift into an exact copy of Eyawa's suit.
"Wait, if your suits can do that then why didn't Teporia just grab a suit off the rack to give to me?"
"Because we only tailor Astrodia suits to our warriors' imageon. There aren't any actual 'suits on the rack' to just spare. For protection reasons."
"Okay, but why did you choose to dress like that?"
"Well, if we're even going to get close to these staves than we need to get close to criminals wielding them. And what better way to get close to someone than a skin-tight outfit?"
"I'll admit it's definitely effective."
"Am vi making you uncomfortable? Because vi could try something a bit more modest."
"What no, you're just fine. I mean you're okay! Uhh yeah, let's just go get those staves," Eyawa rushed away, her cheeks yellow with embarrassment.
