Amelia POV
I tasted fresh, crisp blood before my eyes opened. I looked up into the bright eyes of a redheaded teenage girl. Her green eyes were wide, and she was looking down at me in fear. As soon as my eyes opened, she drew her hand away and started wiping the blood off. I flashed in for t of her and bit down on her neck. She squirmed, but I held her arms down at the sides of her body. I forgotten how good blood has tasted.
As soon as I was done, I but down on my wrist and made her drink my blood. Her wound heed quickly, both of them.
I looked down at my 16th century dress and snorted. I'm pretty sure that's out of the picture now, thanks to Katherine Pierce. Oh, as soon as I find her, she's as good as dead.
"What's your name, darling?" I asked the frightened teenage redhead.
"Arianna," she says shakily. "I'm a hunter and was sent by Silas to awaken you."
I narrowed my eyes. Why would Silas, immortal vampire, witch and hybrid want with me.
"Never mind. Look, my dress is kind of out of style. Think you could help me out a little bit?"
Arianna nodded. "I have stuff at the house Silas wants you at. There's a whole closet full of this century's clothes and a freezer full of blood, Miss."
I sighed. "Well, what are you waiting for? Take me there, darling."
She turned and started walking out of the tomb. I followed afterwards shortly. I need to get cleaned up, then I was going to see what Silas wants and then I'm going to find my old friend Niklaus Mikaelson and then I'm going to kill Katherine Pierce.
"He's not home at the moment," Arianna said quietly. "But he'll be back shortly. I'm supposed to babysit you until further notice. You can clean yourself up if you want, I'm going to make some food before I pass out."
I walked up the stairs of the house and went to my supposed to be bedroom. I took a shower, blow dried my hair, used some of the supplied makeup, brushed my hair and left it natural and then got dressed. (Picture at top is what she's wearing) Then I put everything away and walked out.
I listened carefully for Arianna. She's cooking in the kitchen still. Perfect. I vampire sped over to window, opened it and jumped out. I landed on the balls of my feet and then vampire sped in the northern direction. It might take awhile to find Niklaus.I might have been running at top vampire speed for a few hours when I caught the scent of a delicious human. Her impeccably straight brown hair bothered me for some reason. I grabbed her by the throat and turned her around. I was shocked. The girl looked exactly like Katherine, except for a few differences. Her eyes were slightly darker and set deep, her lips were thinner and she's human.
"Who are you?" A male voice asked from behind me.
I let go of the girl's neck and turned to face the voice. Blue eyes, blonde hair, handsome.
"Well it looks like I found myself dinner and a handsome man," I smirked. I recognized the man immediately, I just wanted to see if he'd recognize me.
"Amelia!" Niklaus gasped, running forward and crushing me in a hug. "Are you seriously here? I'm not imagining anything, right?"
I shook my head. "You're not imagining anything, Niklaus. Who's the girl?"
Niklaus sneered. "Elena Gilbert. Katherine's doppelganger."
I smirked back at the girl. "Honey, you sure ain't nothing like Katerina. But if you've got a Salvatore on each arm, your screwed, darling."
"Who the hell are you?"
All three of us turn to see Stefan Salvatore and Damon Salvatore standing there. I wiggle my eyebrows.
"Hello Stefan and Damon."
Both guys sneered at me. "I asked who you were," Damon snarled.
I rolled my eyes. "Relax, Damon. Can't I have fun?"
Niklaus chuckled from beside me. "This is Amelia Claire, Amelia this is-"
"Yeah, yeah. I already know who they are." I waved my hand as if it didn't matter.
"Aren't you that one crazy bitch that showed up at our house and fought with Katherine three hours straight?" Damon asked me, raising his eyebrows.
I sighed. "Unfortunley, yes."
He smirked. "Quite a fight, might I say."
"I wouldn't do that," Niklaus warned. "She gets pretty feisty. And considering she's been dead for three hundred years, she's going to be pretty pissed."
I rolled my eyes. There goes Niklaus and his bragging.
"Who killed you?" Elena asked.
I could tell she's going to get really annoying and real fast too.
"Who do you think, darling?" I asked, ringing a finger around my hair. Then I remembered something. "Oh," I turned to Niklaus. "Silas wants something from me and I don't want to find out so until he leaves, can I stay with you?"
Niklaus shakes his head. "Just woke up and ready in trouble, Amy. Of course, love. You don't even have to ask."
Damon, Stefan and the annoying doppelganger seemed to have left, so we walked to Niklaus's car at a normal human pace.
"What's this century like, Nik?" I asked. It felt good to talk to a familiar face, not a teenager who doesn't know what she's doing.
He shrugged. "Boring, in my sense of taste. Otherwise, it's loaded with enough humans for us to eat when we are ravishing our cravings for delicious blood."
I rolled my eyes. "Just like 1660, you're completely descriptive to the point where I could kill you."
Niklaus chuckled and held the door open for me.
"Quite the gentleman," I say, raising my eyebrows.
He snorted before suddenly ending up next to me. I rolled my eyes at his terrible performance of trying to impress me.
"My older brother seemed to have teach me a few things," Niklaus admitted.
I laughed. "Seriously?" Then something dawned on me. "Niklaus, you never told me you had any siblings."
He sighed. "Elijah is the oldest. Then there's Finn, then me, then Kol, then Rebekah. Clearly mother is the oldest, but you get the idea."
"Oh please tell me the bitch isn't alive," I half growled.
Niklaus chuckled. "No, Amy. Only Elijah and I are alive at the moment. Kol, Rebekah and Finn are to be awakened Friday evening, just before our yearly ball."
I smirked. "You still do those stupid cocktail parties, Nik?"
He shrugged. "What can I say? I have to keep some of my old self stuck with me."
I laughed as he pulled up in front of a ignoramus mansion.
"Holy shit," I whispered. "How the hell did you afford this, Niklaus?"
He smirked. "My secret. You can take the room across from Rebekah."
I chuckled. "Great."
We walked up to the front door, he unlocked it and invited me inside.
"As soon as Rebekah is awake, we'll get you some clothes," he said, scratching his head.
I was about to reply when a very strikingly handsome man strolled around the corner.
"Niklaus?" His eyes met mine. "Who are you?"
I smirked, using my best bitchy voice. "None of your business."
The man turned to Niklaus with an angry expression.
"You may not want to do that, love. That's Elijah," Niklaus said quietly.
I widened my eyes. "Oh. Forgive me, sir. I'm Amelia but you can call me Amy."
Elijah frowned. "I may have to keep an eye on you, love."
I rolled my eyes. "I'm not any trouble, I promise. I'm only here for a few days, maybe a week."
Elijah turned to Niklaus. "May I speak to you, brother?"
They walked off so I roamed into the living room and collapsed on the couch. Niklaus came back a half hour later.
"What was that about?" I ask curiously.
He shakes his head. "Don't worry about it, love."
I narrowed my eyes. "Don't you lie to me, Niklaus Mikaelson. Something is troubling you and if you don't tell me, I will squeeze your heart until you do."
Elijah walked in and raised his eyebrows. "May I speak with you, love?"
I stood up and followed him to the middle of the house, which happened to be a garden if sorts or something.
"I understand your a close friend of my brothers," Elijah said, walking around the garden. "But in concerned about Niklaus. I was wondering if you'd like to help me?"
I crossed my arms. "It depends on what I'd be helping you with."
Elijah stopped walking and looked at me. It was almost a minute before he looked away. I couldn't read his expression.
"Let me make myself clear," he simply said.
Suddenly I was pinned against the wall, Elijah had his hands on either side of my head. "You are going to help me, no matter what."
I narrowed my eyes up at him. "I'm not going to help you if I don't want to, Mikaelson."
I shoved him away from me with a simple finger. "And don't you dare do that again, otherwise I'll kick your ass."
I went to go walk out, but I found myself pinned against the wall again. This time by the throat. I reached up to grab his hand but he broke my wrist. I grimaced in pain.
"Did I not make myself clear, love?" He began.
I held up my not broken wrist. "Let me breathe, please."
He only tightened his grip.
"I'll help you, just let me breathe!" I gasped out.
He let go of me just as quickly. He smirked triumphantly.
I glared up at him. "For being such a gentleman you sure are an asshole."
"Is something wrong?" Niklaus yelled from down the hall.
Elijah smirked and fixed his tuxedo. "Not at all. We were just finishing up, weren't we, love?"
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Just you wait, Mikaelson. Just you wait."
I super sped away from him and out of the house. I found the Mystic Grill, a restaurant Niklaus mentioned earlier and ordered a bourbon.
The delicious smelling blue eyes, blond haired human looked at me curiously. "I've never seen you here before," he said. "Are you new to town?"
I smiled. "You could say that."
I said just as Damon and Stefan sat down on either side of me.
"We're good, Matt," Damon says.
Matt nods and walks off.
I looked at each boy, smirking. "Are you guys channeling me? Because I can tell you I'm a hundred times stronger than both of you combined."
Damon rolled his bright blue eyes. "You've the attitude of Katherine."
I sneered. "Don't you ever compare me to that psychotic bitch."
Stefan snorted. "I'm pretty sure it's you who's the psychotic bitch and not the other way around."
"And I'm pretty sure you need to leave us alone," a familiar voice said from behind me.
"Great, Elijah's back!" Damon said, hopping off the bar stool. "All yours, mate."
Elijah sat down just as they left. I rolled my eyes at Elijah.
"What do you want?"
"I see your happy to see me," Elijah says. "I never got to finish what I was saying earlier. Wouldn't you like to know why I'd need your help with my younger brother, love?"
Matt came back to get me a refill and his eyes widen at Elijah.
"Hello, mate," Elijah says, smiling.
Matt just stays silent, staring at him. "You're supposed to be dead," he finally says.
Elijah simply smiles. "For centuries now, darling."
Matt just shook his head and walked off without offering a drink to Elijah.
"I am sorry if I made you angry earlier," Elijah simply says. "But I'm afraid my brother has gotten himself into trouble and I need all the help I can get. Surely you understand."
I turn my head away from him, ignoring him. If Niklaus was in trouble, he could get himself out of it.
"You aren't listening to me, are you?" Elijah sighed.
I got annoyed and turned to face him. "Your supposed to be a nobleman, or so your younger brother says. But truth is, there is no nobleman. You pretend to be some amazing guy but really your nothing but a jackass." With that I slammed my glass down and vampire sped to the Mikaelson mansion.
"Everything alright, love?" Klaus asked as I walked inside.
I shook my head. "Your brother is nothing but an asshole. I don't care how many people say he's a nobleman."
Klaus smirked. "I figured you'd say that, almost everyone does. Now, love, I've got a problem and since I'm giving you a place to stay it'd be fair for you to help me, no?"
I stayed silent for a moment. Maybe Elijah was right, Niklaus is into some trouble.
"Sorry, Nik. Let me get some blood and sleep first?"
Niklaus pursed his lips but nodded. "Go on, love. We can talk tomorrow."
I super sped to my room and started pacing. Niklaus really is in trouble.
"I told you so."
I turn to see Elijah sitting in my desk chair.
"You don't have to be so rude about it," I sneered.
He frowned. "I'm sorry. You strike me as interesting, love."
I narrowed my eyes. "What do you want, Elijah?"
He sighed and put his hands in his pockets. "There's a doppelganger."
I raised an eyebrow. "I'm aware."
"Niklaus wants her dead," he continued. "And I have a reason to change that." I didn't say anything, just let him continue. "Did Niklaus tell you how our family died?"
I nodded. "Said Esther killed them all."
"And he's lying," Elijah said slowly. "He daggered us all in hoping he could get peace between him and mother. Unfortunately, it costed him my awakening and since then it's been rough. Friday there going to be awakened but that's not the problem. The problem is Niklaus wants to use the doppelganger to make hybrids."
I rolled my eyes. "So?"
He growled. "You're not concerned that in controllable animals will be running around the town?"
I gave him a nasty look. "We're not uncontrollable, Elijah."
He stayed silent and I looked up to see him looking at me curiously. "Your a hybrid?" He questioned.
"Mmhhm," I muttered. "Niklaus created me eight hundred years ago. I was supposed to be a vampire but after I drank Katerina's human blood, it finished."
"So your alright with Elena being used to make more of you?" Elijah asked, making it sound bad.
I stood up and crossed my arms. "Look, whatever Niklaus is doing isn't my problem. If you want to kill him, go ahead. I'm not helping with that situation. But I will help you save the doppelganger. If you can help me?"
Elijah looked curious. "With what, love?"
"I need to find Katherine, so if you can help me lure her out, I'll help you with the hybrid mess."
He smiled slightly and burrowed over this for a moment. "Its a deal."
I smiled back, then sneered. "Now get out of my room. I've got shit to do, darling."
He quirked an eyebrow. "Darling, huh?"
"Oh shut your trap up. I say it to everyone, including men." I shoved him out the door then collapsed on my bed. One day of hell and I've just awoken.
I've got a lot ahead of me...
