Amelia POV
"I cannot believe this!"
I was sitting on the Mikaelson couch, listening to Niklaus's ranting. Elijah was sitting in the chair across from me, reading a witchcraft book.
He looked up at Klaus with a smirk on his face.
"Calm down, Niklaus. Your time for revenge will come soon enough," Elijah says, smirking still.
I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Both of you are out of you're minds."
I walked out before anyone could protest any further. I bumped into Rebekah on my way into the kitchen.
"You will not believe how many times I have had to clean up the living room after Nik's ranting sessions," Rebekah muttered, her vampire face popping up.
I chuckled and then smirked. "Yeah, and he's ranting again."
Rebekah snarled. "Niklaus!" She yelled, vampire speeding away.
I rolled my eyes and took off outside instead. We weren't in Mystic Falls anymore. We moved to New Orleans a few weeks ago.
"Hello," Kol said, walking up beside me on the street. "I have a small question for you, darling."
I chuckled. "What do you want, Mikaelson?"
He smirked. "Did you not hear me when I said I have a question? Listen, your one of Nik's closer friends and I know of Elijah's plan."
I stopped walking and looked up at him. "And..."
"And I want in," Kol continued. "Look, Nik has done nothing but dagger me in the back for the past eight hundred years. It's time he earned his keep inside a coffin."
I quirked an eyebrow at the youngest boy original. "Are you sure you're not being sentimental?"
He glared at me. "Amelia, tell me Elijah's plan. Now."
I thought about it for a moment. "Look, it's not my place to tell you. Ask Elijah, not me. He's the leader for this plan, not me."
Kol shook his head. "Amelia, don't make me ask you again."
I could not believe this thousand year old vampire. It's also hard to believe Niklaus and Kol are the younger brothers of Elijah, a formal man and a man of his word.
"Kol, it's not my situation," I replied. "It's not my place to discuss this with anyone but the person who originally told me the plan. If you want to find answers, I suggest you talk to Elijah. Not me."
Kol snarled and raced off, using his vampire speed.
I sighed and shook my head before continuing on with my walk. After a half hour, I decided it was time to go back to the house.
When I got back, it looked like a massacre happened.
"What the hell?" I asked myself, stepping over the dead werewolves and vampires. Clearly, they trespassed, but why?
"Thats the same thing I asked myself," Elijah said, stepping out from a different doorway. "I'm assuming this was Niklaus's ordeal, considering the damage done to the necks and such. But it doesn't make sense. Whom are these people and what do they want with my younger brother?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Keep it to the century, Elijah. Keep it to the century."
He chuckled and examined one of the werewolves at his feet.
"I wonder where Niklaus is now," he mused, looking up at me, his brown eyes narrowing.
I shrugged. "I haven't seen him since this morning. I only recently spoke with Kol."
Elijah looked upset and stood up. "What did Kol want?"
I sighed and ran my hands through my hair. "He, uh, kind of asked me if we had a plan forming."
Elijah was fumming by now. "He WHAT?"
I flinched a little, but decided to go on. "I never told him specifics. I told him it wasn't my place to tell him anything and if he wanted answers, he should discuss it with you. He took off after that."
Elijah put his hands in his pockets and slowly circled around the water fountain.
I eyed him curiously, but he never came near me. I assumed he wasn't pissed at me, but I was so off track.
In a blink of an eye, I was slammed against the wall, Elijah holding me in place.
"Next time my brother asks you something out of ordinary, don't answer him!" He snarled.
He took off, leaving me staring after him in shock.
Elijah can be so nice at one point and then suddenly turn around and be a jerk. Looks like for the next few months I'm in for a lot.
