Vince's POV

Nagsiayos kami ng upo nang pumasok ang isa sa inaayawan kong guro. "Good morning class!" bati niya. Agad naman silang nagsitayuan upang bumati rin. Syempre hindi ako tumayo, nabubwesit pa ako.

"I'm glad to see you all! By the way, I'm Paul Raufer Devon, your Research instructor." napasmirk nalang ako sa introduction niya habang ang ibang mga babae ay pinapantasya ang mukha niya. Devon is handsome, I can say but heartless and inconsiderate when it comes to his students. He even do punishments. How did I know? He was my adviser last year. Akala ko wala na siyang ihahandle na subject sa amin ngayon. Good luck to this fcking year again.

"Huwag na tayong mag sayang ng oras. Let's have a drill. Whoever gets the highest score will have a price." sus parang bata!

Isa pa 'yan sa attitude niya. Time conscious. He value time that much and he do punishments for late comers.

"Whoever wants to answer, just raise your hand." Panimula niya. Sa halip na makinig ako sa kanya ay mas pinili kong mahiga sa arm chair ko. Wala ako sa mood sumagot kay Devon ngayon.

"Okay, first question. What is research?" sus basic. Kahit bata masasagot ang tanong niya e'. Pansin ko namang wala pa ring sumasagot. Akala ko ba top section 'to? Para research lang hindi alam? Bobo masyado ah!

"Okay, stand." Wow ha! Akala ko wala ring kwenta ang section na 'to.

"Research is the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions." Napataas ang kilay ko sa sumagot. Nag-angat ako ng tingin at nakita ko ang Psycho kong classmate. This is fun.

"Very good, Ms., your name?"

"Zephania Maxiey Phile po. Zeph for short, sir." Nakangiti niyang sagot.

I raised my hand to add her answer which Devon recognize. I stood up and composed my gesture. "Research is a creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge of humans, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to devise new applications." As expected, napamangha ang girls sa sagot ko as well as Devon.

"Two main types of research?"

"Qualitative and Quantitative" sagot niya. Aba nanghahamon 'tong babaeng 'to ah.

"Three types of research?"

Hindi na ako nagtaas ng kamay at agad na tumayo. "Exploratory, Descriptive and Causal."

"Give me the parts of research." Napaismid lang ako. Wala bang mas mahirap?

"Abstract" agad niyang sagot.

"Introduction which is composed of Rationale of the Study, Significance of the Study, Statement of the Problem, Scope and Limitations and Definition of Terms." dugtong ko sa sagot niya.

"Review of Related Literature"

Palipat-lipat lang sa amin ng tingin ang mga kaklase namin pati na si Devon. Paano ba kasi, kami lang dalawa ang nagbabatuhan ng sagot. Ayoko pa naman na nahahamon ako.

"Methodology composed of Sample and Locale of the Study, Instrumentation, Research Design, and Gathering and Treatment of Data."

"Results and Discussion"

"Summary of Findings, Conclusions and Recommendations," she ended with a smile.

Nagsipalakpakan ang mga hangal kong classmates na tila palabas ang pinapanood nila. Naupo na ako at napaismid habang ang Psycho at ngumingiti pa rin. Tss.
