CHAPTER 14: Adik

Vince's POV

Another day for the week and as days passes by, I can feel the excitement for our contest. The past few days was quite cool especially making the project at the Psycho's place. I admit, she cooks well but that doesn't change the fact that she's a Psycho and I am irritated with her.

I shifted my gaze from beside when I felt someone is poking me. I took a glance and gave her a glare.

"Pinapatawag daw tayo ni Mr. Devon, Bisinti," she said then I returned my face on the phone I was holding.

I'm not interested to listen on Devon's sentiments right now. I planned to rest this week for atleast two days including the making of our project.

I leaped a bit when the Psycho yelled at my expense. "Bisinti! Pinapatawag tayo!"

I shot her a deadly glare causing her to bite her nails in fright.

"Why do you have to shout?" I snapped.

She looked down and murmur something, "Kasi naman hindi ka nakikinig. Akala ko nabingi ka na."

I gave her my deadliest glare and in a second, she ran towards her original seat. I shook my head while witnessing her tantrums in front of her friends.

"'Tol, ako'y kinakabahan na sayo. Maaari palang ngumiti ang isang ginoo na mag-isa?" Lloyd chortled with his classic traditional way of speaking Filipino.

I stared him coldly and his smile fade away in an instant. He shifted his view to Lux who's sitting next to me, now eaten with laughter.

"Tawang-tawa 'tol ah!" he commented. Lux calmed himself and replied him casually.

"Hindi kasi bagay sayo ang ganyang mga salitaan, mukha kang ma-ginoong gago."

"Comte! Lux!" I scowled making them shut.

"Si Jaynard kasi, boss," he insisted.

I slightly lifted my T-shirt exposing the dagger inserted on my pants. He raised his hands in surrender and slowly assisted himself to the exit door.

Soon after, Ms. Annaleah entered the class wearing her usual fierce expression. I wonder why she's here. As far as I remembered, she does not have any other  schedule for this day other than the first period.

She greeted us and we did the same. She ordered us to stay on our seats and pay attention for she is having an announcement. I'm curious of this sudden announcement of the school, my mom haven't mentioned something to me earlier at home.

"I won't make this announcement long, I just want to inform you that you are free for three days," she started.

The class was filled with murmurs and questions about Ms. Annaleah said. I am certain that this is not a suspension of classes because there is no reason to declare such.

"Ma'am, bakit free? Nakakulong po ba kami?" the Psycho curiously asked causing everyone to laugh.
