A LOVE CURE

Chapter 2

LAUREN did assign some nurse to check Camila every hour. She sometimes visits her if she had time, chat with her a little before her shift and bring some fresh flowers in the room.

"Hi, I'm here again and I already know what happened to you initially, I want to take care of you that if you let me, by the way I forgot to introduce myself I'm Lauren Jauregui and Dinah said you are Camila Cabello, you had a beautiful name by the way and nice meeting you Ms. Cabello," she said with a smile.

LAUREN tapped her finger on her cheek while staring at her phone. She was planning on checking Shawn Mendes, his whereabouts, she was concerned because there's a possibility that he was looking for Camila and did something bad to her, Dinah warned her not to find him but she thinks of some way without knowing him that he's been followed. A friend of her knew some investigator and she would try to call her so she dialled her number after getting the calling card in her wallet. She waited for a second when it rang then she heard a voice.

"Hello this is—Michelle Morgado, are you Normani Kordei?"

"Yes it's me what can I do for you?"

"One of my friend said that you were a good detective and I need that skill of yours."

"Yeah I am whatever it is I'm in."

"Well that was good to hear."

"What kind of investigation you wanted me to do?"

"I want you to find and follow someone, find him and his name is—Shawn Mendes, I want to know where he is, his doings, his information and I'll double your fee if you do your job well, you know what I mean."

"That's easy it's my forte, when will I start?"

"Do it immediately, I don't care if you take long."

"Okay no problem, I'll do it right away."

"Thank you," and end the call then she sighed, she put her phone back to her pocket and went to Camila, she saw a tear falling from Camila's eyes and she wipe it away, "maybe you're thinking of him, if you hear me I want you to know that you're safe, that there's nothing to worry about, I assure you Camz, I hope you're okay with that nickname," and she caress her cheek while smiling.

DAYS after Lauren hired a detective she received a call from her. It said that she just finish the job. Then she told her to go to Kaiser Hospital and look for Lauren Jauregui and she agreed to her.

After a minute of waiting she heard a faint knock then the door opened.

Lauren saw a woman, dark-skinned, 5'4 in height, who had a jet black curly long hair, fair-complexion, dark brown eyes and slim in built.

"Lauren Jauregui?" and she close the door behind her.

"It was me, come and have a sit."

"The attendant told me where you were," she said and took a seat.

"I left a message to them."

"I see," and she gave the folder, "here's what you're looking for," and the raven-haired accepted it, "I did what Morgado asked."

"I see," and studied the documents inside the folder.

"Is it you who hired me?"

"I am through Morgado, is it important to you who your clients are?" she asked without looking at her, still checking the documents inside the folder.
