I was practically pushed into the house. Inside the music chimed and the people danced. Penny and I went outside after dancing for a bit. There we saw Lacey as well as tables of food.
“Why is Xavier here?” I asked.
She smiled, “Because, I know him and because you don’t see how much he loves you. I also plan to make him embarrassed in front of everyone.”
My heart dropped. They knew each other? That’s why he was here!
**Lacey’s P.O.V.**
“Hey Xavier,” I whispered in his ear in a seductive tone. I know what you are thinking, but this is for Jade and Xavier’s own good.
At first he seemed to be mad because he started to push me away. Then he had a smile on his face. Prefect! Did I mention that the paparazzi are coming in half an hour? I should have Xavier in a bad situation by then. I still am trying to figure out the details. Sigh, I am evil! Then he put a hand in mine and led me into my room on the very top floor. This is going to work out great. He picked me up like I was his bride and put me on the bed. This felt wrong but WHO CARES? Well, maybe a couple people. Am I kidding myself? Everyone will care! (Evil laughs)
Then I leaned forward. He leaned into me as our bodies pressed into each other. He smelled so good! Our noses pressed each other’s. Then our lips pressed each other’s. Wow, I have missed this! He slipped his tongue into my mouth. I pulled back. He looked at me confused, “I am sorry but you smell like sweat! Maybe you can get into the shower and I will meet you there,” I whispered. I am a genius! He didn’t smell bad at all. He smelled wonderful. He nodded and went into the bathroom next to my room. I waited there until I made sure he was in the shower.
Then I heard the running water. YES! I ran up to the door. And saw him in the shower completely naked. “Hey babe. I’ll join you in a second!” I whispered. Then before he said anything I grabbed his clothes and the towns in the cabinets and ran out the door. I ran down all the stairs and waited at the very bottom with his clothes in one hand and a town in another. No way is he going to be able to stop me. Then I felt a small buzz in my pocket. I looked at the caller ID because it was probably Xavier yelling at me. I didn’t recognize the number. “Hello?” I shouted over the music.
It was the paparazzi! They were coming in! The next thing I know there are about ten with cameras. Then I heard a loud yell. I looked at the top of the stairway to see Xavier completely naked! My mouth formed an O.
**Jade’s POV**
I walked into the house and saw a crowd of people at the end of the staircase. Then I looked to see what was at the top of the stairs and my mouth dropped. Xavier was butt naked right in front of everyone! Then he started to turn around and run until he caught my eyes. He looked sad, hurt, frantic, and most of all in love.
Then everyone turned to me. The press started to take pictures of me looking stupid with my mouth open like a dog. Xavier ran up the stairs frantically and I ran out the back door. Penny followed me in a hurry.
Finally, we were in the car. I had tears gushing out of my eyes. I knew exactly who did it. Lacey. She had his clothes in her hands. She was in love with him. I know he is my ex but I still care! But not for him! Oh my god I love Xavier . . . STILL!
