He frowned. Why? The girl looked at the book, which looked like a journal, or a diary. She started to sing. Her voice was soft with a Spanish accent.

'I'm so tired of pretending. Where's my happy ending?' She closed the book and put it back in the bag.

'I followed all the rules. I drew inside the lines. I've never asked for anything that wasn't mine.' The girl stood up.

'I waited patiently for my time, but when it finally came, he called her name, ' she sang. She had tears in her eyes and almost broke. Father and son frowned when they saw her like this. They thought she would be eviler.

'And now I feel this overwhelming pain. I mean it's in my veins. I mean it's in my brain. My thoughts are running in a circle like a toy train.' She touched her head like it was aching and she walked over to a picture. It showed her and a boy. She must've been brokenhearted.

'I'm kinda like a perfect picture with a broken frame. I know exactly who to blame, ' she sang angrier than before. She threw the picture on the ground and it broke. She didn't care. She sighed.

'I never thought of myself as mean. I always thought that I'd be the queen.' The girl smiled for a second, but she backed away and it looked like someone pushed her in her chest. 'What is this?' Balthazar whispered. Dick shushed him. Balthazar rolled his eyes.

'And there's no in-between. 'Cause if I can't have that, then I will be the leader of the dark and the bad, ' she shrugged.

'Now, there's a devil on my shoulder where the angels used to be, and he's calling me the queen.' She walked back to her bag and searched for something.

'Great, now she hears voices in her head. This girl is insane!' Balthazar screamed whispering to Dick.

'Dad, what's she searching for?' Dick's question was answered when the girl took a golden crown with green and yellow gems on it.

'Being nice was my pastime. But I've been hurt for the last time. And I won't ever let another person take advantage of me. The anger burns my skin, third-degree.' The girl became angrier and angrier. She put the crown on the table and took a giant pure emerald rock out of her bag.

Balthazar gasped. 'Oh, no...'

'Is that...?'

'Yes, son, the Ember of Nature...'

'Now my blood's boiling hotter than a fiery sea. There's nobody getting close to me, ' she sang. She walked to a closet.

'They're gonna bow to the evil queen. Your nightmare's my dream. Just wait until they fall to my wicked schemes.' She opened a closet and took out the scepter. She stood in the middle of the room again and placed the Ember on top of the scepter with her hands on it. Her eyes were closed.

'I never thought of myself as mean. I always thought that I'd be the queen, ' she continued frowning. Her hands lit up and a plasma ball surrounded the Ember.

'And there's no in-between. 'Cause if I can't have that, then I will be the leader of the dark and the bad.' She opened her eyes and smirked evilly. She walked to the crown and took it.

'Now, there's a devil on my shoulder where the angels used to be, and he's calling me the queen of mean.' She looked at the crown in her hands and sighed dreamily.

'The queen of mean!' She looked up when she saw the scepter glowing. She looked like she was hypnotized by it. 'The queen of mean...' She slowly walked to the scepter.

'Something is pulling me, it's so magnetic. My body is moving. Unsure where I'm headed. All of my senses have left me defenseless. The darkness around me is promising vengeance, ' she sang when she put the crown on the table to take a closer look at the scepter.

'The price that I'm willing to pay is expensive. There's nothing to lose when you're lonely and friendless.' She picked up the crown and held it above her head. She kneeled next to the scepter.

Dick and Balthazar's mouths fell open again.

'Oh-oh...' Dick said.

'So my only interest is showing this Princess that I am the queen and my reign will be endless!' The lights stopped working for a second. When the guys could see the girl again, her eyes were a greeny-yellow. Her hair had green tips and she wore a totally black outfit. Her mask turned black with white and it had branches and leaves and her crown turned silver.

'The scepter literally convinced her?' Dick asked his father.

'It's magic! Of course!'

'I want what I deserve! I wanna rule the world! Sit back and watch them learn! It's finally my turn!' She got up again and played around with the green swirls that came of the scepter.

'If they want a villain for a queen, I'm gonna be one like they've never seen! I show them what it means now that I am that, I will be the ruler of the dark and the bad! 'Cause the devil's on my shoulder where the angels used to be, and he's calling me the queen of mean! The queen of mean! I want what I deserve!'

The song finished. The chandelier above the girl's head exploded. She sighed in annoyance and snapped her fingers. The chandelier was repaired and back to its original status. She snickered and turned around. Her smile faded away when she saw a boy who looked her age in front of her. He waved dryly. She growled and pinned him against a wall.

'Who are you, what are you, and why are you here?!' she snapped.

Balthazar stood behind her and snapped his fingers. The scepter flew out of the girl's hand. Her crown fell and became gold again. She wore her normal clothes again. She turned around and sighed.

'I know that sigh...' Balthazar muttered frowning.

Dick quickly rushed to his dad. Balthazar wiggled his fingers and the girl's mask fell off. Dick's mouth fell open when he saw the beauty in front of him.

Balthazar frowned again. 'Jocelyn?'
