Y/n's pov~

Its been 3 years from the breakup with me and Ariana bit I still think about her to this day. I knew it was time to move on after Ariana broke up with the second guy she dated after our breakup. Now I'm dating Ainsley and she has been a big help to forgetting about Ariana but not completely. I was sleeping somewhat peacefully until I felt my pillow vibrating, I put my hand under my pillow and pull out my phone slowly opening my eyes from the light. I close my eyes again after seeing I got a call and answered it not caring to check who it was. "Hello" I said with the phone to my ear waiting to hear the voice on the other side.

 
"Wow, I'm surprised you actually picked up" I heard a familiar voice say causing me to open one of my eyes seeing the contact name as "Vic". I mentally curse at myself for not checking who was calling before answering the call. I've been trying to avoid conversations with Ariana's friends as much as possible, I'm not saying that their not my friends too (or at least I think they are) I just don’t want to get yelled at for being stupid. "Look Vic, Its 3 in the morning where I am so what do you want" I said trying to go to sleep as soon as possible.

 
"Really because its around 1pm here" She laughed and I hummed. "Anyways, there's a party and I can invite whoever I want so are you coming" she asked in a hopeful tone. "I don't know, is Ariana invited" I asked.

 
I don't think I have the "Confidence" to talk to her right now plus,  I know my girlfriend wouldn't want me to go to a party out of the country by myself and that would be pretty awkward. Vic paused for a few seconds like she was thinking of a good answer and replied with a no. I let go of the breathe I didn’t even know I was holding and sighed showing I was giving in. "Fine, as long as my girlfriend can come to" I said. With a long and loud groan she agreed and we set everything up. I told Ainsley about the plan and she happily agreed which made me happy….for

Ariana's pov~

Tonight is the night of the party that I didn't know I was throwing yesterday, but here I am welcoming people into my home. Its suppose to be a small party and to make sure of that, I invited all my friends and told them they could only bring one person of their liking. It was all Victoria's idea to be honest. I wasn't in the mood to since Pete and I broke things off and I have a tour coming soon but Vic being the person she is, she told me that I wasn't "socially heathy" whatever that means. I know she has something up her sleeve I just hope it has nothing to do with Y/n.

 
Vic has been trying to get me to go back out with her saying "she made you the happiest I ever seen you and she was nice to me." Yes, I still love her but I assume she moved on so I did too.

 
I was walking around saying hi to some of my friends and meeting new people. Going to grab a drink I tripped on something and closed my eyes waiting for impact. When I realized I didn’t fall I opened my eyes to see her. She had a smile on her face but I knew it was a awkward one but it was so genuine. Even after years her touch still gives me tingles throughout my body. Her eyes are still so capitating.

"Y/n"

I saw she was still holding and came to my senses. I quickly got out of her hold and adjusted myself. "Hey, what are you doing here" I ask smiling. "Victoria invited me actually" hearing that makes me mentally roll my eyes, of course. "Well it nice to see you again, also you have an accent now" I ask and she chuckles scratching the back of her neck.

 
"Yeah well, I went to Australia to visit some family and then the visit turned to a stay and I met my girlfriend so…yeah" when she said girlfriend my smile turned into a from but I regain myself and smile again almost instantly. "Speaking of girlfriend, I said I would get her a drink" "let me move out of the way" I say while moving realizing I was blocking her way and I sighed when she was out of my sight.

I cant be jealous because I don’t like her anymore. Right?

Y/n's pov~

 
After running into Ariana and getting Ainsley her drink I confront Vic. "You said she wasn’t invited" I whisper-yelled not trying to cause a scene although we were in a completely different area from the main party. "But she wasn’t, this is her party" she said smirking and I mentally cursed myself for not asking more questions. I sigh running my hand through my hair "So what am I going to do now" I ask Vic.

 
"Enjoy the party your gonna talk to her later anyways" She said with a shrug and walked off. I go back to my girlfriend whos sitting on the couch. She straddles my waist and lays her head on my shoulder.

Ariana's pov~

 
I was talking to Vic when I see Y/n with a girl on her lap laying her head on her shoulder. "That’s her girlfriend, but I don’t trust her" Vic says looking where was looking. I was glaring at her and I guess she noticed because she sat up and started kissing Y/n. The kissed turned into a make out and I had enough of it. "I'm gonna go upstairs for a bit, call me if you need me" I say still looking at the couple from the corner of my eye and walked upstairs. I did my nightly routine not wanting to go downstairs again until tomorrow and put on my Pajamas. When I say pajamas I meat a bra, a pair of underwear, and an oversized hoodie that Y/n let me use (I never gave it back).

I can't still love her, she has a girlfriend and I've moved on. I'm focusing on myself and my needs.

I'm better off without her
