Growling angrily in my cage was not going to help. And neither was calling for Deidara, even with his puppy crush on me. I considered trying to use my powers-er, 'Justus', l should call them. But really l couldn't do that. I'm not good enough. But what if... "Doragon no ikari no Justu...?" I said, putting my hands into the finger formations that l saw from the mangas. And then, unexpectedly, fire in the form of a twisting dragon rushed at the gaps of the sand. It broke that cage open AND shoved cat-boy tight off his feet.

"Take that, kitty!" I screamed at him. "Oh, very funny!! I just wanna kill you right now!!" He screamed right back at me. Sasori and Deidara gaped at me. l know, they never thrained me, but it was still annoying. Annoying... That made me think of Ryder and everybody else. I was silent on the way back.

"l think l'm going to go home. Like, soon. l can't take it here." l announced at the base in front of everybody. "The fuck you just say?" l found myself on the ground in an instant, pain shooting through my right arm as Hidan pinned me onto the floor. "After all this?! And you wanna fuckin' leave? You can't just do that, bitch!!" He yelled. "Hidan, leave her be. She'll find her way back." Pein said calmly. "THAT'S WHAT YOU FUCKING SAID ABOUT DANAE," He screamed. "BUT SHE NEVER DID COME BACK, NOT EVEN NOW, NOT EVEN AFTER 2 YEARS, BASTARD!! HOW DO WE KNOW THIS BITCH, RIGHT HERE, WILL COME BACK?!" Pein just walked away. Hidan had loosened his grip on my sholders and l was free to walk now. l looked at Konan. My room she mouthed to me. l blinked to show her l understood and watched as she got up and headed down to the hallway where our rooms were.

"Danae was... A girl. She was like you, but more happy and understanding. She and Hidan normally got into fights and little quarrels. They were friends, but they weren't dating. One day she left. Pein had a huge fight with her. Well, it was mostly her. She got so mad because she wanted to go home, just like you, and Pein said that she would return and she didn't believe him. She began attacking him and eventually she just left. She hasn't been back since and Hidan thinks Pein has lied to him." l sat and listened as Konan explained the story of Danae Beret. "So you think that Danae would have helped you guys?" l asked. "Hidan did. ln fact, she was like his little sister. But then she..." Konan looked at her lap. "Yeah. l know." l responded. lt seemed so... lronic. How Hidan, mister l-hate-you-all-so-go-frick-yourselves-up, could have even begun to think about siblings. "Guys, we've found a dead birdy, come see!!" Tobi cried happily from behind the door. "Coming." Konan said. Then we went outside to see the bird.
