Me: Ahm a potato and I like sweet potato pie.

Danae: Ah, the cannabalism. Never gets old.

Naruto: ...

Kiba: ...

Kakashi: ... *cough*

Me: Why're you guys here?

Danae: Yeah, what the heck?

Kakashi: How did you know?

Me: ... Maybe when you whispered, "Christy doesn't own Naruto...?"

Kiba: That was me.

Danae:... Anyway, none of us own Naruto.

I could hear Danae downstairs trying to keep my parents alive. But I kept staring at the scroll. The image was long gone, yet I couldn't stop staring. "Layna!!" I heard Danae shout. "Get down here!! It's your brother!" My brother. That snapped me out of it. I slid down the rails of the stairs and dashed into the room. Ryder was there, unaware yet of our parents. He was talking with someone. She had dark black hair and gleaming tan eyes. I tried to sneak away, but Ryder waved me over. I walked over with a noticable sadness and anger in my eyes. He didn't notice. "Layna, this is Regina, my..." He stopped and Regina giggled. "Hi, I'm Ryder's... Well, You know. Nice to meet you, Layna." I managed a smile and shook her hand. At least something good happened for someone I thought. Regina turned to Ryder and said, "I have to go, my sister is going to take her medicine and I have to help her. Bye, Ryder! And you too, Layna. It was nice meeting you!" She called before she sped off on her bike. I pulled my hand up to wave but she was gone. Ryder sighed and turned to me. "Well, that's settled!" He said, clapping his hands once and tossing me (Well, not really) into the car. "Let's go and get this thing into the garage now." He said. But I couldn't. I had Danae in the house, I had to hide her, I had to help her, I had to... Keep Ryder away from the house. The bodies of our now dead parents. I looked into the room window and saw nothing. Safe in that room. I clicked open the door and found Danae in the living room, on the sofa. "Hey." She said. Ryder came in. "Oh? Is this your friend, Layna?" He said. I could only nod. "Great. Well, I'll be upstairs if you need me." He said. Then he went upstairs, leaving me and Danae. "Let's go outside." She muttered.

The grief and fury hit once we were outside. I broke down. I cried. I screamed. I probably even hit a tree. "Layna, I think... I think we need to fight back." Danae said, her hands trembeling. "W-we can't do this on our own... I... I don't think I can do this..." Her voice broke and she sobbed into her arms. "I can't do this again! I can't let them take me again... No... No..." She whimpered. "What do you mean?" I asked as calmly as I could. "They took my family. They concealed me from the world. I need to fight back with people I trust." The words she spoke hit me like a wall. I... I need to as well I thought. And she was one of the people I could trust. She was the beginning of my group of fighters.

"And where do you intend to find these fighters?" Danae frowned as I explained my plan. We were going to find more people who we could trust and would fight back with us. "We could go to Konoha or-" "No." I said, ruling out the idea of villages. "They can help if they want, but chances are they'll backstab us." I barely even reconginzed my own voice. Cold like steel, yet soft with understandning. "Ok... So rouges. That we can trust." Her grim expression gave way to a grin. "Then I think I can help us with that." She took my hand and together we crossed into the world of Naruto,
