Chapter 17

Erin's POV

After the deep conversation with George and Snape saying that stuff about me should've keeping it to myself, I went to the bathroom to clear my mind.

I splashed some water on my face and looked in the mirror, "You'll be fine." I whispered to myself,

I splashed my face with water again and heard the door open, I looked and it was Pansy Parkinson and her goons, I rolled my eyes and dried my face.

"Well, if it isn't Erin. I can't believe you'd exclude Slytherin from your plan, selfish, bitch." She spat on my shoes.

"Excuse me, all Slytherins are involved with Tom Riddle." I scoffed

"His name of Voldemort, you dumb bitch." One of her goons spat

"Exactly, this is why we didn't include you." I smiled and laughed

"Well, you need to pay for betraying your house." Pansy chuckled

"Right, because I did somethin-"

Pansy pointed her wand at me quickly and said "Crucio."

I fell to the ground on my knees and groaned.

"Aww, poor Erin is hurt?" Pansy cackled

"Not in the slightly, Parkinson." I laughed

"You will be." Her other goon said

Pansy and the first goon pointed their wands at me, "Crucio." They both said

I groaned a little louder and tears filled my eyes, I refused to give in.

"Come on, Pansy? I thought you were the best?" I laughed manically.

"I am!" She yelled and all three of them used Crucio on me.

She stopped and I scoffed, "That's why you need 3 people to hurt me!"

"I don't, they're just here." She scoffed

"You can't do shit, without them. You're pathetic." I spat

She pushed me on the ground and I was on my back.

"I can do without them." She stepped on my chest.

She kicked me in the face a few times and used Crucio once more.

I stood up and smiled

"Had enough?" She asked

"No, but you have." I laughed

One of the goons kicked my stomach and the other punched me, I fell back to the ground, I pretended to be knocked out so she would leave.

"Stupid bitch." Pansy spat and they left.

I got up and stretched my body.

"Ah shit." I groaned, my back hurt.

I went to the mirror, my eye was black and covered in blood, good thing I could still see.

I spat blood out of my mouth.

My lip was busted and there was a cut in my eye brow, that was scarred, great, and it was big too.

"Dammit!" I yelled because I didn't want people asking why I was all busted up.

Hermione came in and looked at me, "I over heard Pansy talking how she hurt you in the bathroom."

"I'm fine, I'm just sore 'Mione." I smiled, but that even hurt to do.

"Hang on, stay here." She said and ran out.

I waited about 5 minutes and she came back in... with..

"Snape?! What's he's going to do 'Mione?" I asked

"He is head of your house and he could help you." She smiled, "I know he isn't your favorite person, or anyone's," She said and he glared at her, "but you have to let someone help you."

"Fine, but 'Mione you have to leave, so people don't get suspicious why a student and a professor went into a bathroom together.

"Right." She laughed

"Thank you," I smiled at her and she nodded.

"So how'd this happen?" He asked

I sat down on a toilet so he could clean the wounds without me falling over

"I was just in here after our conversation and Pansy must've saw me walk in, there is a leak, and Tom probably knows already, about us attacking them when they get here." I scoffed

"I will find the leak, it's probably in Slytherin." He grabbed a cloth and put antiseptic on it.

He dabbed my eyebrow, "ow!" I yelped

"Ever had stitches?" He asked

"I have only brothers, of course." I laughed

"Your eyebrow needs them, so, it's gonna sting." He smiled

"Of course you find my hurting amusing." I scoffed

"I do."

I rolled my eyes and sewed up my eyebrow, I gripped his arm the entire time.

He got done and I still held onto his arm, he cleaned the rest of my face and looked him in the eyes.

"I've treated you wrong, Severus.." I sighed

"How So?" He raises an eyebrow

"When I cheated on you with Draco... I forgot about how you must've felt.. and that was selfish.. I've treated you so wrong since then.." I sighed

"Smith, I had no idea your mother had passed, and I should've been around."

"You have your life, and I have mine." I smiled, "I shouldn't have cheated.."

He pulled me into a hug, "I hate when you make me feel things, Smith." He scoffed

"I know." I laughed and I cried a little

we broke out of the hug and looked at each other, he leaned in and I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him.

After a minute I pulled back and gasped, "I can't do that to George either, we don't even have feelings for each other anymore!"

"I'm sorry, that was impulsive of me." He said professionally

"I can't.. I can't do that to George, I'm best friends with his brother! Ron would hate me if he found out I cheated on his brother! God, what the hell is wrong with me?!" I panicked

"Smith, calm down, it was in the heat of the moment." We walked out of the bathroom and George was waiting out there.

"Hey." He said

"Hi." I smiled and looked at him.

He didn't look at me yet, "I shouldn't have yelled at you earlier."

He then looked up at me, "Erm, Rin?" He asked

"You had every right to get mad, and Pansy." I said, "Professor Snape helped me with the cuts and stuff."

"Right, thank you, Severus." George smiled and took my hand and we walked to my room.

"You haven't ate, should we go to the Great Hall?" He asked

"No, I don't want people asking what happened." I sighed and got annoyed.

"Okay, Sorry." He said quietly and I laid on my bed.

"I hope it's all worth it." I sighed

"It will be, everything is going to turn out okay." He maid beside me and wrapped his arms around me.

I silently cried the rest of the night for many reasons.. how I betrayed George and kissed Snape... my mother, for not protecting her... everything..
