Chapter 5: School

Erin's POV

We were leaving for school today, George and I were dating, but we're gonna wait till school is over and see if we still have feelings for each other. It was mutual.. hopefully..

I walked into a cart, Draco and Ron were in there

"Ron? I'm surprised that they let you back here." I said

"Yeah, there are a bunch of Gryffindors, it was over crowded."

"That sucks, where's Hermione?" I asked

"I didn't see her get on? that worries me." Ron said

Draco got up and hugged me, I hugged back and then we both sat down

"I'm not looking forward to this year.." I said

"Yeah, I heard there is a new DADA teacher and a new Potions teacher. Hopefully Snape isn't here either way." Draco said

"Hopefully... He's not my favorite.." I said

Soon Harry joined us and Tanner as well. I guess he's not sitting with Andrew and Adam, that's weird, wonder if something happened

"So what happened to your arm and your leg?" asked Draco

"I punched a wall by... accident.. and he doesn't know." I said

"That sucks, hope you feel better." Ron said

"Thanks." I said

The train ride was silent, Draco and I sat on one side, Tanner laid across Ron and his crutches were on the floor... People stared as they went by.. I assume they heard about my mum..

Finally we arrived and sat at our tables.. an old family friend was at the table.. Professor Slughorn.. and Snape was still here..

After Dumbledore's big speech, sorting first years and the feast. Kaylee and I made our way to our room.

"I missed you, Erin."

"I missed you too, I was sad you didn't visit much."

"Well, Bryce thought you were gay for me? I don't know, but he cheated on me, so I don't care." she sighed

"You don't need a guy to make you happy. Guys are dumb." I said

"Says you, don't you have a boyfriend?" she said

"No, we thought it would be best if we spilt up while I was at school, mutual feelings, I hope." I smiled

"Aw, I'm sorry." She patted my back.

"I'm gonna go down to the quidditch pitch, you should at least try so I'm not the only girl." I laughed

"Nah, muggle softball is my favorite."

"Alrighty, see ya later." I said and grabbed my broom and Jersey

I walked down to the pitch and Draco came with me, so we could practice.

"I'm glad you're trying this year again, I didn't think you would since you're the only girl." he said

"Yeah.. I was really hoping Snape wasn't here.. but, I can't let him be the base of my fears.."

Draco and I practiced for a couple hours, then we went to eat dinner.

I walked over to the Hufflepuff table to talk to Andrew

"Hey, why didn't you and Tanner sit together on the train?" I asked

"I don't know, I thought he would've, but I don't wanna force him to do anything."
