She stood in front of the of the majestic guild and with a deep breath. Opening the door felt so right in her eyes as she reached the door handle and opening it. The door revealed the inside of the guild. As she took a step and looked around, her feet glided across the smooth hardwood of the guild and her eyes gazed at the many tables but the lack of company made it feel very lonely. This was no coincidence for the knights and the warriors had left for their duty in the morning. There was also a bell hanging by an iron hook, and string dropping down its clapper. Reaching out to the small silver bell, she rang it slowly calling the owner of the bell.
Slowly from behind the door of the counter, a man with brown bushy beard and curly hair, hazel eyes and tanned skin came out, he was wearing a dark blue apron which was dusty, and also gloves that were black, and he looked almost like a blacksmith except that he was slightly less muscular than the average blacksmith. He folded his arms and looked at her, examining her.
"Welcome, didn't expect a lassie like you to be here, such a rarity but not an impossiblity," he chuckled.
"Impossible things happen every day, have you heard what the Grimm writers been saying? But that's not what I am here for, I am here to ask do you happen to have a quest that I could do?"
"My apologies, but at the current moment the guild can't offer much for you, for others see you as a stranger and I am not yet sure whether you have what it takes to be part of our guild," he said.
"I'm afraid you are mistaken, for I maybe a just a lassie to you but I assure you, my strength matches the men of your guild," she said. He raised an eyebrow at her.
"If that so, leave your name here, and by morning, I'll make sure that someone will hire you."
"Thank you,"
He placed down a piece of paper, and she wrote down her name, or more to it, what she wanted people to call her. "The name is Hendrick, most of the time people call me Rick. If you come after sun down, this place lights up like a fire."
"I'll be sure to see that then," she told him handing the paper to him.
"Young lass, are you staying in this town, or are you just visiting?" he said while pulling away the paper and tucking it into his apron pocket.
"If I need to, I will leave, but for now I am in not in a dire need to leave," she said in a cold tone. "I know a relative that may allow me to stay for a period of time," she said, dismissing the conversation. She then walked out and left, waving her hand once at the guild masted before going out of the guild.
In the breezy wind, and she walked around under green scenery made by the trees of the woods, her long scimitar knocked the trunks of the trees while walking, it was made out of silver which is the perfect weapon against werewolves and other creatures of the night.
As she went deeper inside the woods her eyes meet a small hut, filled with vines.
Slowly she knocked the door gently with her fingers, waiting for someone to answer the door.
"Cousin!"
She turned as her eyes met the eyes of another girl with twin braids, who welcomed her with a smile. The young girl held a tray filled with bread while rushing toward her, smiling ever so brightly.
"You arrived earlier than I expected, and I have so much questions yet to ask you."
"Ask away."
"Why did you decided to travel all the way here?"
"I can't tell you why," she said.
"Well, if that's so... here, you look hungry. Come on, eat with me."
