"I am feeling seasick... urgh..." Matt complained.
Days had passed, and they got out of the village, Matt's father promised to tell no soul about him being a werewolf. Matt was kind of unsure whether he would keep his words, but his father said, that he could bite his head off if he didn't.
Jason fell asleep while the snowy-haired lady was carrying him on her shoulder out from the village, as the three walked out from the village with some goodies like bread and butter as a farewell gift given by Matt's family. Even though it was tiring to walk in the morning, they had no choice, because the ship was going to leave early in the morning.
Snow looked at the man, who was complaining a lot about the sea and how salty the air feels, she didn't speak a word, afraid that the words that come out from her mouth might be better. The nightmare she had hasn't left her mind, and he thought it was quite odd that she didn't speak a single word, and he got closer towards her, trying to touch her but she jerked backwards nearly losing her balance.
"Snow?" He asked, and she got nervous and turned to the back. Feeling embarrassed about what she just did.
"I am sorry Matt... I am not feeling well today."
"Did you catch a cold?" He asked, feeling concerned about her, she looked at the deep blue sea, with her adopted son behind her back, she was shivering because of the cold air.
"I'll tell the leader about it, he probably knows some medicinal treatment."
"Thanks... but I don't need it," she whispered in a soft tone.
Matt got worried and got closer to her, "you know, you could tell me anything right?"
Snow bit her lips, she looked to the side, "it just something from my past."
"If it makes you feel better, you can, Jason is asleep, I don't think he'll hear you if you say it anyway."
Snow stared into his amber eyes, and she sighed, she slowly pulled her red scarf down, revealing her scars on her mouth, "it scares me to think about how I am going to live on with a face like this," she said, as she turned away slowly.
His eyes prove that it didn't matter to him and instead he gave a light pat on her shoulder, "those are battle scars, they are the proof you are brave Snow."
Snow looked at him for a moment and smiled gently at him. She felt like she had somebody to trust for once, but she wasn't sure how long it was going to last. She knew one thing for sure; she held a secret she couldn't tell him about.
The male wolf hair flew in the breeze of the wind at the ocean while Jason tugged on his pants, looking at him with his baby face. Seeing this, he started laughing while patting the little guy's head. Snow looked at Matt and Jason while smiling with the scars on her mouth. She looked at them feeling happy that the two are together.
Then she remembered, she looked at her scimitar tied at her belt. She held it tight in her hand, staring at it for a little bit before she pulled the red scarf up.
"Hey, Matt."
"Yeah?" Matt raised an eyebrow walking closer towards her smiling.
"I need to head somewhere; do you mind taking care of Jason for me?"
"Where are you going?"
"I am going somewhere, and..."
"I can come along with you," Matt told her looking worried, she laughed a little bit but Matt knew that wasn't like her.
