"Who is it?" I asked curiously. He already found out?
"I can't tell you over the phone! Come to hero land now!!!" He instructed and hanged up. Who could the spy be? "Beverley please take me back to hero land" I instructed. "Yes boss" she replied and opened a portal. We jumped into it and appeared at Ethan's office again.
He was moving up and down with anger. "I know who the spy is" Ethan announced and I rolled my eyes. "Just mention the name of this spy! I am very curious now" I said anxiously.
"What did you find?" He asked unexpectedly. "Errrr... We haven't found the spy yet because the two guardians told us that Eva and Josh were both spies but Josh doesn't work for Dr Loin. However, Eva is a spy but they don't know if she works for Dr Loin or not but I found out she's Dr Loin's daughter" I chirped.
Ethan hit the table with his hand and yelled. "What is wrong?" I asked him. He exhaled heavily and said "My heroes spied on Josh and Eva too and it turns out that Eva is the spy and the daughter of that coward"
"I also drew the same conclusion" I said clearly. "Am so sorry about this. I know she's your girlfriend" I added. "She's not! She used me to get information to her father!" Ethan roared furiously. I saw he was heartbroken. "But she loves you" I said "No she doesn't! If she did, she wouldn't be using me! Josh was right! I should have known" he scolded himself.
"Relax Ethan. " Beverley said calmly. I looked at my watch. OMG! Its 3:25pm. "I need to go guys. Adriana will be at my house very soon" I announced. "Will you come for the party?" I asked Ethan. "Yes. We need to see what Dr Loin is up to now" he said angrily.
"Okay. See you later! Beverley please take me home" Soon I was back home with Beverley. "I feel so sorry for Ethan" Beverley said. "Me too" I replied. "I suspected her the day I saw her enter the building when I was going to see my dad" I elaborate.
"I need to go now. If you need me, just call me" Beverly says and vanishes. The door bell rang the moment she vanished and I went downstairs only to find mom and Mr Gumfield kissing passionately in the couch!!! I could swear that I wanted to stop that kiss and pull the man's heart out. Instead I walked away and opened the door for Adriana.
Adriana saw the scene and gasped in shock. I pushed her upstairs and we went to my bedroom. "Those two look cozy" Adriana said with a smile on her face. I rolled my eyes at her. "Its high time your mom moved on!!" She added. "She chose a very handsome man. I think I know him somewhere" she added.
"Enough Adriana! Let's mind our own business now. We need to get ready for the party" I scolded. "What is it Amber? You scared about having a step dad?" She taunted. "No! Seriously stop Adri!!!" I shouted. "Okay, relax. I have stopped" she said in mock surrender.
****** We began dressing up. Adri did my makeup for me and I did hers . She curled my hair and I did hers. We then wore our dresses. I wore a maroon tabular dress and black heels to match. I then wore the necklace with my powers and a maroon bracelet.
Adriana on the other hand wore a black mermaid dress and black heels to match. She wore a red bracelet and a necklace. We are now done. "Amber you look beautiful! I will rate you 9 out of ten" Adriana blurts. "What about me?" She adds "Same Adri" I said honestly.

Beautiful dresses right? We then left for the school. The place was booming with music I was excited but I was on a mission. To find out what Dr Loin was up to! We entered and Adri went to get us some drinks. People were dancing , drinking and having fun. "Hey! You look beautiful" Chris said unexpectedly. "Hey,thanks" I reply. "Let's go dance" Chris said. "Am not a good dancer" I replied simply. "I don't care! Let's just go" he insisted "Okay" I replied and we went to the dance floor. Chris was a good dancer and I laughed at his dance moves. I spotted Ethan dancing with Eva a few feet away and I was surprised. Adriana and Jordan were also dancing.
"Am tired" I grumbled. "Already? Aren't you happy to be dancing with Mr good luck charm?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "Of course am happy but I am just tired" "Just stay for a while" he said. "Okay"
We danced again for a long time and finally the dance came to an end. I was so exhausted! "Can you get me some punch please?" I asked Chris. "Sure! I was going for some myself" Chris replies and leaves to get the punch.
"I can see you are enjoying my cousin's company" Ethan spat. "Yeah! He's really nice" I answered. Ethan chuckles "you look beautiful" he said. "Thanks" I said feeling my cheeks heating up. I was blushing!
"Why were you dancing with the spy?" I asked. "Which spy?" Ethan asked raising a brow at me. "You know who am talking about" I answered irritated. "I don't know who you are talking about!" Ethan said with his eyes wide. "Stop playing dumb with me Ethan!" "Am not playing dumb" he said amused. "I know what am doing! Trust me" he added and I rolled my eyes. "I brought your punch" Chris announced handing me a glass of punch. "Thanks" I said taking it. "I want some" Ethan whined. "Go get some" Chris instructed. "I want you to get it for me" Ethan protested. "I don't get punch for lazy people like you" Chris replied.
Ethan frowned. "Liar! You only get punch for girls! Its fine, I will go get my punch" he told with fake anger in his voice and walked away. After sometime, he returned with a glass of punch.
"Well done cousin. I see you were able to overcome that laziness in you" Chris teased. Ethan smirked and sat down sipping his punch. I laughed at the two of them and gulped my punch.
"Ethan, let's go and have some fun" Eva said unexpectedly in a sweet voice. "Am tired Eva!" Ethan said groaning. "Come on! We need to celebrate our victory" Eva added. "Alright" Ethan says and Eva pulls him into the crowd of dancing students.
I narrowed my eyes at Eva. What was she up to now? "Am going to the washroom. Excuse me" Chris said politely. I nodded in response and he left.
"Hey!hey!! Enjoying the party?" Adriana asks enthused. "Yes Adri! Its amazing!!!" I replied happily. "Told you! You would have missed a lot if you hadn't come" "I can see that" I replied. "So , have you decided to help me with my revenge?" She asked.
I choked on my spit the moment I heard the word revenge!!! She quickly brought me a glass of water and I gulped it down fast. "Thank you" I managed to say after being relieved.
"What's your answer! Are you helping me or not?" Adriana asks. I swallow hard. Beverley told me not to get involved in these things but Adri is my best friend and I want to help her.
"Ummm.....Adriana, don't you think its dangerous?" I asked her. "Dangerous? No Amber! Its just disgracing that sewer rat in front of the whole school" she answered. "I don't know Adri, I have a bad feeling about it and I will advice you to forget about it" I said trying to convince her.
"Forget about it? No! I won't! Am gonna do it." Adriana shouted. "Please think about it Adri!" I urged. "Are you trying to make me give up? Then am sorry cos am not giving up on this! I've been planning this for years now! You in or out?" She said sternly. I exhale heavily and say "in"
"Thanks Amber! I knew you won't disappoint me! I promise you its not dangerous" Adriana said cheerfully. "Okay" I said.
****** The party is over now. Adriana, Chris and I were sitting in Ethan's Ferrari going home. Adriana alighted first then I alighted next.
I was so tired but it was a great night! I walked into the house and it was so quiet. Mom and Kevin were asleep.
I went to my bedroom and checked the time. It was 1:59am in the morning. It was midnight already! I removed my dress and went to shower. Then I wore my night dress and went to bed.
