Yami POV
"It's been a while hasn't it." I said to myself as I looked up at the tall building.
"Eh? Yami, you've been here too?" Gon asked as Killua looked over as well.
"Yes, my master gave me a challenge to become a floor master within a month. I failed and had to spend an year all alone on Whales Island to become independent just right before the Hunters Exam." I told them.
"Wait, how far were you from completing??" Killua basically shouted.
"Hmmm, I think I got a total of eight wins and one lose after I reached the 200th floor because of a high fever...." I answered casually.
"Gon, this girl is officially dubbed crazy, it's barely possible to reach 200 in within a month but she even won 8 times afterwards!!!" Killua pointed at me with wide eyes.
"Pfft, last time I checked I was mentally stable." I informed. "I never went to a doctor before but ehhh, they don't need to know." "Anyways~ I'll be registering with the name I used last time so from now on you need to call me "hood", ok?" I said as I took out my work clothing which is a piece of black cloak that perfectly covers my whole face and reached just above my knees.
"Yami,is this what you wear when you work as Silhouette?" Killua asked, whispering the last part.
"You're half correct, I also wear this when I want to hide my real identity so don't be surprised if I don't talk as much from now on." I informed and they both nodded just as we reached the reception.
"Welcome to Heavens Arena. Please fill out this form." the lady said as she handed us three forms. "Killua Zoldyck-sama, you are #2054. Gon Freecss-sama, you are #2055. Hood-sama, you are #2056. They'll call your number on the first floor of the arena, so make sure you remember it. Then please go ahead." and the three of us headed towards the end of the hallway to see a few areas for people to fight.
"It's been a while, but the place hasn't changed." Killua said.
"Huh? You've been here before?" Gon asked as I just tilted my head to the side.
"Yeah, when I was six. My dad left me here without a penny. He said I should reach floor 200 before coming home. It took two years... so I Really don't like it when you said you reached 200 within a month Ya– I mean Hood." Killua corrected himself.
"I bet I wouldn't even be able to reach 100 when I was six." I simply said as I thought back to what happened four years ago. "If that night didn't happen and I'm still living with my parents, I wonder if I will be as strong as I am now..."
I waited for my turn as I watched Gon and Killua pasted without any problem.
"#1799 and #2056"
I walked up to the arena and looked up at my opponent. He's at least three time taller than and and probably as buff as *cough* loli baba *cough* musclewise.
"Kid, you're too small to beat me. Did you grow up on the streets? Your legs are so weak!" the insignificant person mocked me.
"Well, I apologise for being short."
The second the fight started, the big person charged towards me as I waited for him to get close enough for my short arms to reach. (she's salty)
As he punched me at where my head's supposed to be I ducked and gave his stomach a small touch.
"I'm too short for you to reach."
As I finished my sentence he flew towards the wall and created a huge dent.
"Oh? You've been to the 200th floor before? That was a wonderful performance, hmm you may go to the 180th floor..." the referee person said.
"Um, mister. Can I start from the 50th floor? I want to warm up a bit." I gave an excuse and look towards the two idiots.
The three of us entered the elevator as the lady explain to us how the fight works.
"I've heard that after you pass the 100th floor, you get your own room!" a kid said behind us. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Osu! My name is Zushi! What about you guys?"
"I'm Killua."
"I'm Gon."
"I'm Hood."
"I saw your fight earlier. That was really amazing!" Zushi said.
"What are you talking about? You made it up here with one match, too." Killua said as both me and Gon agreed in our own ways.
"No... I still have a long way to go. By the way, which martial arts discipline do you practice? I study the Shingen-ryu fighting technique." Zushi asked.
"School? We don't have one, right?" <Killua> I shook my head as well.
"What? You're that strong with no training? I'm kind of shocked... I still have so far to go!" <Zushi>
I heard someone clapped and look behind to see...
"Wing-senpai?" I questioned.
"Senpai??????" the other three looked at me.
"Yami-chan??" Wing said and nodded.
"Stop it with the chan! And I'm going with the name hood at the moment, I see you haven't changed a bit."
"Pfft, Yami-chan." Killua laughed which made me hit him in the head. "Itai!"
"Wing-senpai, this is Gon and Killua." I introduced.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Wing. I didn't expect Hood to have friends."
"OI!"
"Why are you here?" he ignored me.
"Well, we want to become stronger. But we're also broke, so we're making money simultaneously." Killua said.
"They're broke, not me."
"Right, Hood you never told us how much you have." <Kil>
"Maybe around 30 billion jennies... I think, I haven't checked in a while."
"!!!!??!!?!?!?!?!" they're just to shock to speak at the moment.
"*cough* anyways, if you're up here, you must be fairly skilled, but you should pay strict attention to your opponent's body as well as your own." Wing-senpai advised.
After that we went to get the money for winning on the first floor, Killua started to explain how the money gap works between floors.
"How much do you get for winning on the 200th floor?" Gon asked.
"Well... I don't really know, because I quit once I reached 200." <Killua>
"You don't earn money above 200. It's all about glory in winning." I answered.
"Y-yea... how do we keep on forgetting her?" Killua whispered to Gon.
"sigh* I'm just used to hiding myself out of habit when I wearing my cloak."
Time skip~
3rd POV
The three easily made their way up over the 100s, earning themselves rooms. They continued on their streaks, winning against "strong" fighters with signal hits. Soon they head towards Wing's resident, towards a new adventure to learn something that's known as ... NEN!
{A/n: JESUS! I am alive (and straying away from god's light but thats beside the point) it's been some long since I typed another chapter I might be losing my touch...
