The x Air x Trip

Yami POV

During the whole time on the airship, I was not able to calm down, I'm technically radiating excitement. We finally landed after a painful long time of waiting, I was the first one to rush out and peek through the ravine.

"Now, everyone... Look down there." Menchi said.

"Wh-what is that?" someone asked.

"That, my friend is a Spider Eagle's web." I answered, eyeing the immense amount of eggs there are.

"They build webs down there?" Gon asked.

"Look below the web." Menchi ordered. "Those are Spider Eagle eggs."

Grandpa Netero started to explain the dream eggs but being the hungry person/ wolf Spade and I are. I jumped down before giving the permission to.

"W-wait!" I heard Menchi shouted with worry laced over her words.

"Spade!" I shouted, being hunting partners for over three years, he understood clearly what I want him to do. He ran up to the edge of the clift before I could reach the egg, I shot out my chains and wrapped it firmly around my companion without hurting him. Now I'm dangling off the clift right next to my target, a batch of eggs. I grabbed a handful of them and waited for the up-draft. Once I felt a slight bit of wind going through my hair, the chains that were wrapped around the arctic wolf was released and returned to me. Spade jumped down along just for the ride.

I fell for a few meters before the wind carried me and Spade straight up back up to where everyone is.

"You can never get bored of this feeling ne, Spade?" I asked the white wolf next to me and got a cheery howl from him.

"That looks fun..." I heard Killua said.

"This ravine has updrafts that help the hatched chicks fly up to the web." Netero explained.

"Well... that's how you can get the egg, though I recommend the rest of you to grab on to the webs instead." Menchi advised, trying to get over my surprising actions.

Well... you know what happened next. Most of the examinees jumped in, a few were stupid and wasted the precious eggs, while the rest waited for Gon even though they're freaking out over the web snapping thing. I was just there setting up the fire(not using nen) for boiling the eggs. While doing so, I noticed that Hisoka got the eggs with some kind of nen rope for both him and "Gittarackur".

The eggs are boiled (doing lazy narration here), everyone ate because I grabbed more than enough for the cowards. Even Spade ate... more than one eggs.

Time skip and now we're on the airship again

We're now in an empty room on the plane where every examinee gathered along with grandpa and his bean.

"Allow me to introduce myself to the forty-two remaining applicants. I am Netero, Chairman of this year's Hunter Exam Selection Committee."Netero said.

"I am his secretary, Beans." the bean said.

"Originally, I'd planned to make my appearance during the exam's final phase, but as I'm already here... I'm loving this tension in the air! So I think I'll stick around for the rest of the trip." he said with a smile/smirk.

"We are scheduled to arrive at our destination tomorrow morning, at 8 AM. you'll find dinner waiting in the dining hall. You are also welcome to get some rest. In other words, you're free to do as you please until you are contacted." Beans said.

"Okay, Gon! Let's explore the airship!"Killua said.

"Un! Yami you coming?"Gon asked.

"Sorry, me and Spade have some... business to attend to." I said eyeing the wolf beside me making him shrink back a little.
