The x Food x (Wars) Hunt

Yami POV

I was walking around with Gon and the others looking for any sign of pigs.

"Catch a pig and cook it. This is way easier than the First Phase." <Leorio>

"I hope it will be that simple..." <Kurapika>

Gon seemed to have notice something as well because we jumped down the slope next to each other, the others decided to join as well and boy am I glad that I did not went behind Gon because the others crashed into him while only Spade crashed into me.

"What was that about, Gon?!" Killua asked not knowing that all of our attention were on some other thing.

"Found them" Gon said making Killua confused.

"We found the pigs." I repeat pointing towards a certain direction.

"Uh... they're chewing on bones." Leorio said sweat dropping.

"Don't tell me... they're carnivores?" Kurapika asked, and with that, the pigs noticed our presence and started to charge towards us. Other examinees also ran away once they see our group being chased by pigs but some are rather unfortunate seen as they got nose-butted by them.

"The Great Stamp, the world's most ferocious pig. They use their large, stout noses to send their enemies flying. If we're too slow, we'll end up being their dinner instead." I explain to my group.

"How do you even know that stuff?" Killua asked while running.

"I know my food sources, so let me finish." I said turning back towards the pig.

"Yami! What are you doing?!" Kurapika shouted, concern laced his voice.

"Their strong noses are there in order to protect themselves, if you rethink that, their weak spots should be on their forehead." I revealed as I jumped high off the ground and drop kick on one of the biggest pig's forehead making it lose its conscious.

The others seem to understand the technique and start to... take care of the other pigs as I ran back with a hungry looking arctic wolf. While the other examinees decided to just plain roast the pork, I work on making the dish to be a unique but delicious one, one that will be the judges face light up in delight. Thanks to my obsession and experience with food/cooking, I managed to clean the pig off it's organs and access tissues. I then made sure to roast the pig over until it's skin shows a beautiful colour of golden brown to proof that it's crispy, I sliced off the crispy skin and left it on the side, I proceed on cutting the juicy parts of the pig also known as the belly and seasoned it with herbs like rosemary and basil, salt and pepper then left it to marinate. Then slice off the legs and made it into smoke ham, then cut the shoulder off to make barbecue and stew with it. Then cut off the left overs on the pig, then the loin and made it into ribs. Lastly, I tied herbs on the marinated pork belly and cooked it until it's golden brown and placed everything on a wooden platter in an orderly manner. (This is thanks to my food loving friend)

After finishing everything, I noticed that almost all applicants have turn in their creation but failed to impress Menchi, I also noticed that most of the examinees around me were eying my plate with saliva slipping out of the corner of their mouth.

"Yami! Your dish smells so good, now I wish I can try it." Gon exclaimed while Kurapika and Leorio were agreeing with him.

"You should go and hand in your work before Menchi blows up." Kurapika advised.

I walked up the stairs towards the two examiners, I might not look like it with my poker face on, but I'm internally freaking out.

"What if I slip and fall before I even reach the examiners."
