Gon x And x Hanzo

3rd POV

"The finals themselves shall consist of one-on-one contests in a tournament format! As for the match-ups... Ta-dah!" the chairman announced. (just pretend Yami is in Pokkle's place)

Everyone is confused seen as the chart presented seems like only one person will win but the chairman helped clarify everything.

"This might look daunting but here's the thing... you only need one win to pass! It's the winners who drop away and the losers who advance to the next round! Blah blah blah." this is where Yami decided to cut off the conversation and wait for Spade to tell her the important rules of the whole game.

Yami POV

I stood still as I watched attentively on the match in front of us, it being Gon against Hanzo. Even though I consider Gon as someone important but I'm not going to lie to the fact that Hanzo is certainly stronger than the latter.

As soon as the match started, Gon ran off, planning to put some distance between them. That's a smart move but... Hanzo is faster, catching up within a second and hitting Gon in the neck, topping any movements.

I don't want to narrate this but I'll be brief. Hanzo kept on trying ways to make Gon surrender, that includes making his head hurt and beating him everytime he said no.

"Gon! Don't be silly! You'll still have another chance! You should..." Leorio shouted but was cut off by Kurapika.

"Leorio! If you were in Gon's position would you surrender?" Kurapika reasoned.

"Hell, no! That guy thinks he's hot stuff..." <Leorio>

"Gon feels the same way." <Kurapika>

"I know! I know that... but there isn't any other choice!" Leorio said.

"You're contradicting yourself, but I understand how you feel." Kurapika answered.

The two older males stood there as the fight go on. Unknown to almost everyone, I'm trying my hardest to hold in my bloodlust. Spade stood closely beside me in his wolf form, probably ready to hold me back in case I snap. It's been three hours and it seems like Gon can't move.

"Enough already! I'm gonna kill you! I'll fight you in his place!" Leorio declared.

"If you can't take it, leave. It's only going to get worse." Hanzo answered.

"What was that?!" Leorio started to move forwards but was stopped by me.

"Leorio, don't." I said just loud enough for the male to hear. "You don't want Gon to be disqualified now after all that."

"Yami! How can you just stand there and do nothing?! Don't you care about Gon?!" Leorio asked.

"It's because I'm not in the place to do anything. It's all up to Gon." I answered without looking up.

"It's ok, Leorio, Yami. This is nothing. I-I can still fight." Gon said slowly while struggling to stand up.

Hanzo just tripped him over and said "I'll break your arm. I'm not joking around, so give up. Surrender."

"Never!" Gon shouted and a loud crack came afterwards.

3rd POV

The second the crack was sound, Spade transformed into a human, surprising almost everyone inside the room. Without saying anything, he held onto Yami wrist tightly as most people in the room start to feel shivers going down their spine. Yami has snapped, but her blood lust was not even leaking, she was trying her best to hold herself back for the sake of Gon. Five seconds later, the intense atmosphere is gone and Spade let go of his companion.
