Fight x Against x Time

3rd POV

It was a few minutes after the group of five people turned right. They finally reached the "room" where there's a platform in the middle and the surrounding is a fall. What they did not expect was to see a familiar girl sitting against the walls waiting for the group's arrival.

"Heyyo minna! What took you so long." the girl greeted as she stood up and stretched.

Although the group were surprised by Yami's presence, they looked ahead to see that there are six more people in the room. A buff guy's shackles are off along with his cloak revealing the criminal.

"Oh~ I know this guy, I've seen him on the hunter bounty web before though I did not take on the job because Bisky didn't allow it..."

"Allow me to explain gentlemen." Lippo's voice is heard in the room. "Before you are some of Trick Tower's prisoners."

"Prisoners?" Kurapika questioned.

"The Hunter Exam Committee has also officially hired them as examiners. You will be fighting against the six of them. The fights will be one-on-one. Each person may only fight once. You are free to use any method you like. There will be no draws. A win is declared when the opponent admits defeat."

"You may pick your order." the tough guy said from the other side. "It's majority rule. So secure four wins, and you may pass. The rules are simple."

"Tsk... majority rule again?" Leorio complained.

"Well, I prefer straight forward rules." Killua commented.

"However, the actual fights will not be quite so simple. The prisoners' sentences will be reduced by one year, for every hour they delay the applicants here. In other words their goal is also to buy time."

"I understand... and we must reach the goal within seventy-two hours. So time will be critical during these fights. But what I don't understand is why Yami's here, you don't even have the watch." Kurapika said looking at Yami questionably.

"Hmm, that's because I already finished the exam, so I came to join you guys." Yami said with an innocent smile.

"Sugoi, Yami! Demo, how did you get Lippo-san to allow you to join us?" gon asked with wide eyes.

"Oh, I simply threaten to break down the tower if he said no." Yami just shrugged her shoulder as if it's nothing new.

"Hah?! Just like that?" Leorio shouted. "Che, and how do we know that you're here to help anyways." Kurapika nodded at the statement.

"Simple, I want all of you to pass anyways, well except for the fat guy but I'm definitely here to help!" Yami declared with a confident tone.

"Okay, I'm getting bored, listening to your chat. I'm up first. Choose your combatant!" the buff guy cut into our conversation.

"What should we do? He said that we can fight with any method. So that means anything goes." Killua asked the group.

"We don't know what they'll try to pull..."<Leorio>
"There's too much at stake without knowing what they have up their sleeves. Given that I shall..." Kurapika started but was cut short by someone else.

"No, I'll go!" Tonpa walked forward.

"Tonpa-san?" <Gon>

"I'll act as a guinea pig, so we can discover what they're up to."<Tonpa>
