Cramps

Dianne is in the middle of her Strictly Come Dancing Professional tour, at the moment they are up in Cardiff. Im aware Diannes due on her period any day now, she gets horrible cramps with it I feel so bad that I cant be there with her. Stood cooking my dinner, a sorry looking omelette, my phone begins to ring and I see its Dianne wanting to face time me. I put my omelette on the plate and answer, sitting down at the counter and setting my phone against  a wine bottle in front of me.
"Hey sweetheart" I said finally looking at the screen properly I realise Dianne is crying.
"Oh dear" I say sympathetically
"Joey it hurts" she sobs to me
I look at her crying, the sadness rising in my eyes that she's in so much pain
"Have you spoken to Katya or Nadiya about it?" I asked knowing they were her closest girl-friends doing the tour with her, she shook her head timidly.
"Babe you need to tell one of them so they can help you, I know they would" I told her
"I just- I only want you joey" she whimpered

I walked past diannes room and heard two voices, one of them sounding tearful, it wasnt long before i realised it was dianne on the phone to joe and she was crying. I never inturrupt phone calls but diannes my best friend, i cant just ignore the fact shes crying, i text Neil letting him know where i am and knock gently waiting for a reply.
"Come in" i heard dianne say slightly less tearfully than i had just heard her
"Oh hey Kat" she said as i waked through the door towards her. She stood to hug me leaving her phone face down on the bed, i assume shes still on the phone with him.
"How can i help you?" She asked grimacing, she must be in pain
"Di i walked past and heard you crying to Joe, i couldn't just ignore it" i told her, she burst into tears and wrapped her arms around me
"My c-cramps h-hurt and i j-just w-want my j-joseph" she stuttered through tears
"Hey hey hey dont cry, have you taken pain relief?" I asked, she shook her head
"N-normally joe is m-my hot water b-bottle and he g-gives me my tablets" she sobbed
"Okay" i replied rubbing her arm
"Ill see if Neil has any paracetemols Di and as for the joseph hot water bottle we cant do anything about it im afraid." I told her feelinf really bad for her.
"Okay, thanks Kat" she smiled slightly wiping her eyes with her index fingers.
After making sure she was as okay as she could be i went back to my room and got some paracetamol off neil, i took it to her and she wanted to be left alone so i went back to my room, i phoned joe and told him he had to come down as dianne was really quite poorly and emotional.

I get a call from Katya and i immediately know its about dianne, she told me everything that she had done but i was the only other thing that would work so it happened. I got a train to cardiff. I got to the hotel nearly three hours prior to the phone call and asked for diannes room. "102,102,102" i found her room and knocked on the door. I heard slow gentle footsteps plod to the door and she opened it trying to look composed, as soon as she saw me she jumped into my arms and burst into tears without saying a word, she didnt talk all evening, i knew she just needed cuddles, and so thats what i gave her.
