It was only three days after Mei's funeral, and Reo and I were still saddened. We never forgot the sacrifice that she had done for all of us. She was a teammate, a savior, and a friend.
"What do we do now?" I asked.
"There's nothing we can do anymore. The Sun Shadow is gone and we wasted a bunch of energy on the battle. Also, we still need to get you a new sword," Reo replied.
"Yeah. I still need to-"
Something appeared in my vision as well as Reo's. It was an announcement, apparently for everyone, so it must've been important. We opened it and what it said made my heart stop.
THE GAME HAS BEEN CLEARED.
Reo and I looked at each other, smiled, and started shouting joyously. We kept hugging and kissing each other. Reo looked at me and said, "I love you, Nikki."
I started crying happy tears. I finally got to go home, with Reo! I got to see my family again!
Our virtual bodies started to vanish. Reo looked into my eyes and said, "I'll know you when I see you."
I nodded and let the process began. Everything started to vanish and soon enough, everything went dark.
I got to go home again...
