You wake up with a shortness of breathe. Your entire body aches because you slept wrong. You try to move around to stretch, but cause yourself a great deal of pain.
It takes 15 minutes of deep breathes to finally get your breathing to normal again. You are finally able to crawl out of bed, but not without a few more cramps.
You look around and acknowledge your surroundings for a minute, before exiting your room and out to the living room.
It's at this time, that you already regret getting out of bed, and wished you would've just stayed. Your parents are having a blowout argument.
You want to step in and stop it, but know it won't help. You don't want to listen, but cant help but listen. The angry words spoken back and forth between two people who had claimed to love each other the night before.
You come back out when things get violent. It's time for your reasoning to bring peace back to the house. You make every effort to defuse the situation, but with no success.
You've now trapped yourself in the middle of the heated argument, and can't seem to get yourself out. Your parents are shouting, not wanting to be outdone by the other. You are stuck in the middle being forced to pick a side.
You don't want to. But now, you become the target for their anger as you stand there in silence and disbelief that your parents have forced to you into this situation
You can't pick a side. You don't want to pick a side. You want everyone to get along. But it's too late for that. The words have been said and the deeds had been done. There was no turning back.
You have only one other option
Run. You run back to your room and dive under your blankets and cry as the battle continues in the place you thought you could feel safe in. You try and write out your feelings, but your tears make it hard, as they destroy the paper.
You hope that one day everyone can get along. You hope that all is forgiven and all is forgotten. You realise that it can be, by removing the problem.
You believe you are the problem. You slip into the bathroom undetected and take a bottle from the medicine cabinet. You slip back into your room and eat all the bottles contents. You write one more letter and slowly start to fade as the pills kick in
Finally, after years of suffering, your muscles relax and your brain forgets, as you slowly slip towards the light that's getting brighter with each passing second. Until, finally, you think your last thought, breathe your last breathe, and hear the last noises, before slipping of into eternity, and finally ceasing to exsist.....
