POV: PETRA
Run.
The single word pounded through my head, beating my will to a pulp.
In the near distance, I could hear my name being called. They were searching for me. They were after me.
Fear shot through my body. They can't see me! Not like this!
Pausing, I glanced around. My tail swept back and forth, my ears flicking around.
Then suddenly, I changed.

POV: LUKAS
"Petra!" I called. "Petra!!"
"Where could she have gone!?" Jesse wondered aloud.
I looked around. We were pretty deep in the forest. It was getting dark out, and monsters would start spawning soon.
We had to find Petra fast.
"I don't know." I said.
Suddenly, a low howl pierced the night sky.
Jesse's expression turned grim. He unsheathed his sword.
"Wolves." he said.
I brought out my own sword. "We must have strayed onto their territory."
It was only a matter of moments, and we were surrounded.
A large black wolf pushed its way to the front, growling at us.
"I'm guessing that's the Alpha." I said. Jesse nodded.
The alpha snarled at them, fury in its amber eyes.
I glanced at Jesse. "What do we do?"
