Here's a blessed picture^^^
I was currently at the Dx with Steve and Soda helping run the store. It wasn't too busy letting Soda able to come hang out with me. That's when the worst thing that could've happened, happened. Through the dirty glass I could faintly see my dad standing outside. "Crap!" I yelled.
"What's going on Cal?" Soda asked calm not knowing the situation.
"My abusive dad is outside. I thought that idiot was still in California." I rolled my eyes. "Anyways I need to hide or he'll do something to me." My voice grew more serious.
"Hide behind the counter I'll make sure he doesn't know your here." Soda reassured me.
I sunk my body down where I was now patiently sitting on the cold hard floor. I heard the bell of the doorbell ring. I heard footsteps travel around the small room. Eventually the footsteps were growing louder. Then an echo of a beer slamming on the counter echoed through my ears. "Hello sir I'd like this beer." My dad used his completely fake but believable mayor voice.
"Is that all?" Soda asked trying to be kind.
"Actually I was wondering if you seen this girl she's seventeen, brown hair, dark blue eyes, and around 5'7" she also is named Chloe." My dad stated.
"No sir. Here's your beer have a good day." Soda said.
"Have a good day I'll be here tomorrow as well so see you soon." My dad has a problem of telling more than needed to be known. One time we were talking about dogs and he goes oh yeah I brought my new puppy in my 1983 red Mustang convertible. Idiot.
Soda kicked me, " Chloe you can come up now."
I sat up from the cold hard floor and leveled my eyes to sodas. "Never call me Chloe my name is Cali."
"What's wrong with Chloe? I think it's really cute." Soda started to get closer to me. I back up a little hoping he'd get the message.
"It reminds me of my dad alright." Anger vented through my body.
"Well Cali is a cute name to." He inched closer to me again. I moved further back forcing my back into the brick wall.
"I don't care if it's cute alright buddy!" I almost yelled.
"Come on Cal don't yell. I really miss you and us." He inched closer to me where our faces were about to touch.
"I'm dating Dally and your dating sandy." I moved my head out of the way of his.
"Why does that matter she's cheating on me." He brought his face even closer.
"Soda stop!" I yelled causing Steve to run in and seeing Soda. He dragged Soda away leaving me alone. I fell down onto the ground beginning to cry. Trust just isn't a thing in my world. Mostly everyone I trust takes their small little knife and shoves it right into my back. I expect my father to stab me in the back. I expect my mother to do so as well. Never have I thought Soda would do so as well.
I heard the bell ring but I just couldn't manage to pick myself up. I let my warm heavy tears slide down my face as I sat there hoping whoever entered wouldn't notice me. My plan was going as planned until I heard faint footsteps turn into loud stomps. I have seen the dark brown hair I longed to see all day. He brought his head down to stare at me. "Baby why are you crying?" Dally jumped over the counter.
"Soda tr-tried to k-ki-kiss me." I sobbed.
"He's dead." Dally ran outside and that's all I could see. For all I know Soda could truly be dead. I let that sink into my mind. Although I hate the thing Soda attempted to do I didn't necessarily hate Soda. He's been a great friend. I need to stop dally so I can attempt to give him a second chance.
I ran outside where the wind froze my drenched cheeks. "Dally! Stop!" I yelled out hoping he would listen.
He was about to swing but he put his hand down. Dally got up then gestured his hand to the brutality beaten Soda laying on the floor. Soda grabbed his hand then was about to walk off until he realized his legs weren't in the best condition. He dangled his arm around Dally while he limped over to me. Although Dally wouldn't let him go closer than five feet away.
"Listen Cali I'm truly sorry. I'm going through a lot right now. I just found out sandy cheated and is now pregnant with some other man's baby and it's just so much. But I'm truly sorry I really am I understand if you don't want to forgive me but I wish you could." Soda practically begged.
"Never do it again. But I guess I can forgive you." I smiled and wiped away the last year the slowly slid now my face.
"I'm going to take him out back so steve can clean him up then after that you and I can walk to the Curtis house." Dally said as he started to take soda to where Steve was located.
I sat up front and tried to clear my mind of all of the negative things that have been occurring. "Ya ready Doll?" I heard Dallys faint voice echo.
"Yea lets go." He came closer to me and continued to wrap his arms around my waist.
"We gotta Get you some defense doll." Dally chuckled as he started to walk.
"I can throw a punch and use a baseball bat." I smiled remembering what happened when I first arrived.
"Can you truly throw a punch. I've seen you use a bat before but never seen you throw one punch." He stated.
"Trust me I can." I smirked at him.
"Prove it." He demanded.
"How could I possibly do that?" I stopped walking causing Dally to stop a little in front of me.
"Punch my nose." He demanded.
"Dally no." I looked down.
"Do it doll come on I know you wanna." He mocked.
"Dally no!" I used an extremely stern voice.
"I won't feel it just do I-" before he could finish I punched him square in the nose causing him to jump back shocked that I actually had it in me. "Wow you weren't wrong my girl does have a good punch." He said proud.
"Yeah whatever." I rolled my eyes and laughed.
