As I walked towards the car that would take me away from the only family I've ever known, a feeling of pure dread seemed to blossom in my heart. This place I've called home for so long will now only recede to the deepest part of my brain and remain dormant until I turn 18.
My best friend Ava, my brother and Asher walk along with me to give me comfort and at this moment I wonder why I was the one chosen with this thing. I'd met the family who was going to be my 'parents' and yhey seem nice, soat least I'm not going to get abused.
