Seymour Dojo and Fitness Center

The door clicked behind Sondra as she headed down to the dojo for her shift, and Moe let out a deep breath. After working things out, and standing so close, they had seemed to sway even closer without him being aware moving. He would have completely ruined his plan of taking it slow if he had kissed her.  Thank god there had been the crash from the kitchen. He probably owed Finn or Samuel a thank you for keeping him on track.

From the kitchen Moe heard Finn complaining at Samuel, "You just HAD to drop that pan, didn't you? It was just getting good."

Samuel's voice was amused as he replied, "I never pictured them as a couple before, but I think they forgot we were here."

He owed them nothing, Moe decided with a blush. Ignoring them and acting like he had no idea what they were talking about was his only option. Admitting that they might be right and trying to get advice would be pointless. He already had a plan, and Finn couldn't keep a secret to save his life. Not to mention all the teasing he would endure for very little actual help. Moe turned away and found Sean grinning at him knowingly from the other side of the room. Even though Moe was sure that Sean could keep a secret and might actually have some worthwhile advice, he still changed the subject and said, "Thanks for letting me know what was going on."

Sean began to glue items to the diorama carefully as he joined Moe, but his tone was serious as answered, "Just watch out for her."

Moe nodded and ruefully promised, "As much as she will let me."

When Moe and Sean came down a few minutes later, Sondra was already set up at the counter, but she wasn't alone. Jamie had come over and it appeared that Sondra was filling her in. Moe smiled in understanding as Jamie began to splutter in outrage.

Moe heard Sondra tell her the same thing she had told him. Jamie stubbornly opened her mouth, and Moe hoped that she would have better luck at convincing Sondra than he did. As he set up his textbooks nearby, he shamelessly eavesdropped. It was nice to know that he wasn't the only one Sondra was downplaying this to. Besides, he wanted to see if Jamie had any better tactics to manage Sondra. After all, she was known as the planning genius in their group.

However, before Jamie could press much more, Sondra side tracked her. Moe was left standing with his jaw dropped at the effectiveness. He would never have expected Sondra to out maneuver Jamie, but with one simple offer to work late, Jamie was completely derailed. As Jamie hesitated, Sondra ruthlessly pointed out that she would be able to join Korbin even earlier in babysitting detail.

Jamie's eyes lit up, and Moe knew she wouldn't be the one to convince Sondra to accept help. With a soft smile, Sondra completed her win by saying softly, "Just think about it during your next class, okay?" Jamie nodded.

After she left, Sondra smirked at Moe and softly predicted, "Bet you that she'll leave early."

Moe agreed, but couldn't help hoping he might have been wrong. Instead of answering, Moe's eyes latched onto Korbin finishing up and heading for the door. Usually, he worked out during all of Jamie's lessons, but he was leaving already. At the door, Korbin paused and looked back at Jamie. When Jamie glanced his way, he gave a wink and a smile of goodbye before swinging out the door.

Jamie blushed before she turned her attention back to her class, while Moe's jaw almost dropped. Korbin had never been the type to smile, let alone wink, and Jamie wasn't the type to blush. Moe thought about how they had changed since being around each other before turning back to Sondra. They were so cute that Moe didn't even feel bad as he replied to Sondra, "I'm not taking that bet. There is no way that she will stay back when she had the chance to hang with Korbin on Valentine's Day."
