Malcolm's home

"I can't believe that pig dared to get in my face and threaten me with a restraining order," Malcolm sneered into the phone.

Nancy listened to his complaints and rolled her eyes as she stifled a yawn. Malcolm had been going on about this for way too long. Right after Korbin's dad had confronted him, he had been afraid, but after hours of talking he was almost where she wanted him... ready to do something stupid.

"Like a restraining order would stop you anyway," she encouraged. "It is just a piece of paper. Besides, you go to the same school. How would they make that work?"

"Yeah," Malcolm agreed. "They won't do anything. They can't."

This was working better than even Nancy had hoped. After so many years, Malcolm was just too easy to lead. Nancy lied and said, "Susie loves you." After that whopper, Nancy paused to make sure lightening wouldn't strike, before she continued, "She always came back before. She will do it again. You just need to remind her how she feels."

"How?" Malcolm whined.

After a pause, Nancy said persuasively, "I think it is time to take your relationship to the next level. After she made out with you, she realized her feelings and became your girlfriend. After she sleeps with you, she is sure to stay with you forever."

There was silence from the other end of the line until Malcolm admitted softly, "She won't sleep with me. I've tried before."

Nancy smiled. He was hooked. All that was left was to reel him in. Her voice was almost a purr as she planted the next idea, "After a little of the new product line your father is experimenting with, she won't...disagree."

There was a long pause, and Nancy wondered if she had pushed too fast. Finally, Malcolm answered, "I didn't think that it was ready yet. The amounts need to be just right or someone might die. I don't want to hurt her."

Had he really said that he didn't want to hurt her? Nancy almost snorted into the phone, but stopped at the last moment. Instead, she answered calmly, "Don't worry, we can do some test runs with a couple of select customers before going on to Susie."

"Do you really think it will work?" Malcolm asked hopefully.

"Of course, you know you can trust me," Nancy answered. Once he agreed, all she would just have to do was make sure all trails led back to Malcolm instead of her. When this blew up, he would take the fall and she would be left in charge of the whole family business. With a smile, Nancy continued, "I'll take care of everything. I even have some people in mind for the test runs."
