Seymour Dojo and Fitness Center

Libby changed quickly and when she came out she looked around.  When she spotted Moe and Korbin on the deck, she gave a smile that seemed at odds with how angry she had been when she came up the stairs.  Not knowing what to make of her, Moe decided to pretend he hadn't seen her.  That didn't work very long since she immediately headed his way.  When she opened the sliding doors, she paused long enough to ask, "Moe?"

When Moe turned around and nodded warily, Libby dug a card out and handed it over as she stated, "You have been staying close to Sondra to help keep her safe right?"

Moe wondered what was going on.  "Yeah, we leave soon to get ready for a dance at school."

"If Sondra disappears I want you to call me right away."

"Did something happen tonight?" Moe asked as his hand involuntarily clenched.

After a short pause, Libby seemed to pick her words carefully as she admitted, "Her mom came tonight, and from what I overheard she doesn't plan on following the judge's orders."

Glad to have an ally, Moe replied, "I thing we are worried about the same thing."

Cautiously, Libby asked, "Do you know what Sondra has planned this weekend?"

Moe couldn't stop a smile from forming as he answered, "We will be going to the dance tonight, and then we may go to the tennis courts at the park tomorrow morning before she works.  The girls are staying here on Saturday night, and Sondra will be with me on Sunday for a road trip."

After a nod of satisfaction, Libby nodded and repeated, "If she disappears I want you to call me," before she walked out.

That was strange, Moe thought to himself.  He shoved the card in his pocket as he started to make up plates for himself and Sondra, while Korbin waited for Jamie to come up.

Before leaving Korbin on his own, Moe glanced over and asked, "Are we still practicing at the park in the morning like usual?  I know it is the first day of being ungrounded for you and Jamie."

Korbin grinned and nodded as he replied, "Jamie and I will go out later on our own, but we were still going to meet you at the tennis courts for a morning practice."

With a nod, Moe headed off to find Sondra.   Once he got to the dojo, he was surprised to see Ms. Mac Inness was still with Sondra.  They stopped talking when he got close, and Sondra looked at Libby pointedly and said, "Bye Libby,  I'll call you later."

After a disgusted look, the DHS worker spun away and exited the dojo as she mumbled to herself.

"What was that all about?" asked Moe.

With an innocent shrug, Sondra shared, "She doesn't like some of my plans.  That's all."

Moe wondered which plans, but Sondra changed the subject and then it was time to go.

Lincoln High School, 8:45pm

When Sondra and Moe arrived, they quickly found their friends in crowd.  Sondra couldn't stop smiling.  In her opinion, Moe looked even better than usual in his black pants and the black button down shirt.  The only color was from his tie, and that matched his eyes.  His black outfit matched her black dress perfectly.  While she appreciated Danica and Hillary's admiration of her outfit when she arrived, what really thrilled her was how Moe's attentiveness made it clear that they were together.

When Sondra heard the music slow down, and she took Moe's hand hopefully.

After a surprised look at the hand, he raised his gaze and grinned knowingly as he asked, "Dance?"
