This is the 2nd book in the series. I have tried to make it stand alone, but let me know if there were any parts that were confusing. If you like the characters, please check out "Just Picture It" That one is set a couple of weeks prior, and the main characters are Jamie and Korbin.

Seymour Dojo on Swisher Street
Suburb of Dallas, Texas
Night had fallen, but the neighborhood was still well lit by the many street lights. At this time of the night, light spilled from several windows in each of the family homes that lined the street. No single dwelling apartments here. The whole area was very family oriented. This may have been because of close proximity to several kinds of parks and the school. Most of the houses were older, and in different stages of repair as the families slowly finished their DIY projects.
The one place that had a single light on was the old fire house. It had recently had its own face lift. The top floor had been converted into an apartment, but the bottom had been changed into the dojo/gym with an office for a well known local security company, Seymour Security. The place was now the epitome of a stylish professional business, but its new owners had kept hints of its origins. The most obvious example was the old fire pole.
The fire pole connected the living room of the apartment to the middle of the dojo. Since one of the owners lived there, it was a fun convenience instead of an intrusion. The grand opening had just happened last week, but the place was already being considered a success in the neighborhood.
Right now, it was dark, locked, and quiet on the ground floor. Suddenly, a disembodied, upside-down head popped through the hole in the floor. While the long straight hair pointed to the floor the hazel eyes peered around the room, and out the window to the street.
"Is it clear, Jamie?" asked a voice from behind her.
Jamie glanced back and smiled, as she replied, "I don't know why we have to sneak, Danica. We have permission to be here after all."
The tall girl had curly dark hair that fell in waves down her back. The most startling feature was her dark blue eyes that almost looked purple in some lights. Danica gave a chuckle as she said confidently, "Sneaking around is part of the sleepover experience. I don't care if there aren't adults around, or if you are the owner. Sneaking is mandatory."
Jamie raised an eyebrow and glanced at a tall quiet girl that was twirling her hair. Her beautiful face with high cheekbones showed her Native American heritage. Normally, she was so shy that she blended into the background and only let herself shine when she was playing tennis or was on a stage. Lately, she had begun to let her wicked sense of humor slip out when she was with her friends. Jamie asked her in exasperation, "Is she for real, Hillary?"
Hillary smiled and said, "Danica has very clear ideas of what is important in a sleepover. Just be careful to not fall asleep while she is still up, or you will wake with your hand in warm water."
The last girl gave a laugh and added, "Danica once froze my bra. Of course, it was Moe who found it. He always seems to be around when something embarrassing happens to me. He came waltzing out of the kitchen with it sticking straight out like a flag in high wind."
Danica smiled and added, "Moe blushed even more than you did when he found out it was yours. He wouldn't have been teasing if he knew you were involved." She turned to Jamie and laughed as she said, "You should have seen him try to hide the frozen bra behind his back. When Mom came in to make him leave, he didn't know what to do with the bra."
