Swisher Street Public Park- Koi Pond

Just as she was about to topple over the low rail, a hand clasped hers and pulled her back. A muscular arm slid around her waist from behind and eased her away from the edge. Sondra looked down in surprise at the tanned arm crossing her bare stomach, and the hand that rested lightly against her ribs.

"Don't worry. I've got you," a familiar voice whispered in her ear.

With a smile, she settled back against Moe's chest.

Moe turned her away from the crowd on the shore before he let her go. There were whistles and hoots from that direction and Moe made sure that he blocked Sondra from the crowd's view. When his gaze slid down, he quickly took in her spandex outfit. Even though he knew that the runners wore less, a wolf whistle from the shore had Moe glancing over his shoulder with a scowl. Without a thought, he quickly pulled off his shirt and handed it to Sondra.

As Sondra frowned down at the shirt she said, "You don't have to give it to me. I know you aren't comfortable shirtless yet, and I'm still dressed as much as most runners in the park.

He had been keeping his eyes firmly focused over her shoulder, but at her words, Moe's gaze automatically traveled down and back up before he admitted, "maybe so, but I'd still feel better with you covered instead of my back."

With a blush, Sondra pulled the shirt on without another argument. After that, his tone softened as he added, "Besides, I didn't get to help during the fight, so let me help this way. We are a team, aren't we?"

As her smiling face popped through and the shirt settled clear past her hips, Sondra protested, "What do you mean, "Not help?" If it wasn't for you, I would have been fighting in the water over my head. I couldn't have a better partner." At her words, they both turned to look over the railing, and saw the reason the whistles from the beach were still continuing.

The throw had propelled Susie out into the middle of the pond. Large koi fish swarmed around her as she struggled to stand in murky water that came almost to her chest. Moss, mud, and green water covered her from head to toe. There was even a lily pad on her head as she glared up at Sondra and Moe. Even though Susie snatched it off her head and threw it toward the pier, the lily pad went well with the mud streaks covering her. Unfortunately, none of it was helping to make her previously white clothes less see through.

The way the thin white cloth was sticking to her, it was like she had on an almost transparent second skin. Sondra's eyes widened as she stared down at Susie's impressive cleavage, and she felt the urge to cover Moe's eyes. However, when she looked over at Moe to judge his reaction, she was relieved to see that Moe was struggling not to laugh instead of drooling or rushing to rushing to her rescue. Sondra still wished that everyone wasn't able to see Susie's colorful underwear. When Susie wadded up the wet cloth she had managed to drag with her, Sondra found herself offering, "You can use my shirt if you want."

At Sondra's calm tone, Susie blinked before asking belligerently, "Why would I want your old t-shirt?"

With a touch of evil delight, Sondra informed her, "Because, white clothes turn see through with water."

The catcalls and whistles from the shore finally registered and Susie looked down to see that her red bra was clearly visible. With a quick turn from the shore, Susie crouched enough that the bright splashing koi fish covered her from the chest down.

As she watched, Sondra couldn't help being surprised that someone with as dark of a complexion as Susie could turn so red.

From the water, there began a constant stream of inventive curse words, but most seemed directed at the fish that seemed to still be mistaking her for food. It took her several minutes to untangle the wadded up t-shirt and pull the wet smelly mass on over her outfit. Susie lost her balance several times, but eventually she managed to pull the large shirt on.
