Shattered Plates

~Monty~

"What the fuck!" I shout at my dad as he throws a plate against the wall.
"I want you and your slutty sister out of my house!" He screams at me throwing another plate at me.

I dodge it and it shatters against the wall right next to the front door. Right as Emily walks in.
She stands there in horror. That plate was centimetres from her face.

As I turn back round to look at my dad again, I feel something smash against my head and I fall to the ground.

"Monty!" I hear Emily scream in horror.

"I want you out! Both of you! Now! Go!" He screams in my face.

Emily runs over to me and helps me up.
She grabs mine and her bags and we walk out of the house.
She walks me to the end of the street, and we sit on a bench.

"What the hell was that about?" Emily asks me still shook up.
I shrug. "I got back from Bryce's house and as I walked in, he started throwing plates at me and screaming at me telling me to get the fuck out. That 'me and my slutty sister' had to leave his house." I said quotation the bit our dad had said.
"That dickhead." She says.
I nod. "What the fuck did he even hut me with?" I ask her rubbing my face.
"Your... Your baseball bat..." She tells me.

She engulfs me in a hug, and I don't hesitate to hug back.

"Wanna come to Bryce's with me?" I ask her and she nods.
We both get up and head to Bryce's house.

We walk straight into the pool house.

"Hey Mont!- Woah what the fuck happened to your face!?" Bryce asks me.
"Dad Wacker him with his own baseball bat." Emily tells him.
"Oh shit." He says. "I'm guessing you're both staying on here for a while then?" He questions.
"Yeah." I nod.

I watch as Emily walks over to Scott and sits next to him on the sofa.
He and Alex are playing video games.

I go and sit down next to Scott. Him and Alex are playing video games.

"Wanna play?" Scott asks me handing me a controller.

I stay quite but nod my head.
I take the controller from his hand and start playing the game.
