Edwards POV

Loreli stood there dumbfounded by this new insight to who I was. I can see the fear in her eyes. She's contemplating whether or not to inform the cops, I'm sure of that. There's obviously no playing it off or coming up with some miraculous reason for her to not leave at this very moment. This might just be the first moment that I've ever been left speechless. I move closer to her but she backs away cautiously with each step.

"Y-your a murderer?" Is all that she can come up with.

"So they say." I respond. "I suppose you think I'm going kill you?" She backs up some more awaiting my next move. "I'm not. I have no reason to." I reassure her. But those might not be the best choice of words. I start moving towards her again.

"Stay. Away. From me!" She backs up. "I should've know this was a bad idea." She mutters to herself.

"Loreli, I'm not going to hurt you." I reach out my hand unsure if there's any chance of her taking it.

She smacks my hands away, "Oh, and I'm just supposed to believe you?! You're a psychopath! You've killed people!"

"Don't speak of what you don't understand!" I yell at her, quickly I reach for her arm. She yanks her arm back and slaps me. I can feel the blood rushing to my face. Okay, now I'm pissed! It takes me a few moments before I realise that she's running away. Smart. I calmly walk after her as I see her turn a corner into a blocked off alley. Stopping in front of the alley I watch her realise her mistake. She clings onto the brick wall looking at me with her pleading golden brown eyes.

Now, I want to clear this up right now! I didn't do anything! Didn't touch her! But out of nowhere she screams frantically and faints. I'm not sure what to do I've never gotten that reaction before, it was certainly new to me. I kneel down and pick her up bridal style, I can't take her to her home she'll call the cops and then I'll have the Batman putting me in that discussing asylum. No, I'll have to take her with me, just till I can figure something out.

Arriving at my place, I carry her in, being as careful as possible. The place was quiet till I come into the living room and hear a few shrieks on my TV. Johnathan, Joker and Harley were all gathered watching Nightmare on Elms Street. Johnathan in particular was watching much more closely while the couple was much more interested in each other. Quietly, I walked past them but Loreli started shifting and groaned, probably from the bump on her head. Everyone's attention turned to us. I smile nervously, thinking that this probably doesn't look good.

"What did you do?" Crane asked, raising an eyebrow. I can only imagine how bad this looks with me holding the unconscious girl in my arms.

"I know what you're thinking, and I swear that it's not what it looks like!" I defend myself. Loreli shifts again then I watch her eyes flutter open. Our eyes lock, but then she pushes me away, apparently she rather wants to be dropped than set down.

"Well she seems to like you." Joker laughs. Loreli's eyes dart over to them, instantly knowing who they are she did there stunned like a deer in the headlights.

Loreli's POV

Oh my gosh, I'm sitting in front of the most wanted criminals in Gotham. I can't think, I can't do anything, all I can do is hope they show mercy. Trying to run away at the moment definitely isn't an option. Instead, I sit as still as possible.

"Why did you bring her here?" Asks a dark haired, cold blue eyed man that I believe is Dr. Johnathan Crane, aka, the Scarecrow. He gets up from the purple couch and stands beside it knowing that approaching me wouldn't do any good.

"She found out, I can't take her home she'll call the cops. And I don't know about you guys but I'd rather not be taken back to Arkham. So I brought her back here till I can short this out." Edward, or The Riddler, explains. His eyes look back at me, he strolls over and kneels down beside me. I don't take my eyes of him for a second, I can't trust him, never.
