"So how are you doing at Jaemin's club." Jane slices the cheese cake.

"You mean the young writer's club?" I corrected , giving her a light glare. "You must have noticed it by now!" Her expression was obvious enough. She thinks Jaemin likes me.

Apparently, no. Jaemin doesn't because I know. Jane pouts at me for so reason. "All the girls are jealous of you now." She grabs the fork and stabs the cake as she eats it. How violent. "Jaemin is just a friend." I know that there aren't romantic feelings with our friendship. Jaemin is the type of friend who looks after me like a sibling.

"Rae Lin is taking too long.." Jane opted to check her phone because she's been worried. True, she hasn't been arriving since the first 2 hours of the meeting time. We were supposed to have our girl date. For the past days, she's been on and off about her chat mate.

"Have you been talking to Rae Lin?" Jane asks out of concern. "This makes me a bad friend because I was too preoccupied with Young writers club for our project at the end of the semester." I felt a wave of guilt for not checking up on Rae Lin these days. "It's okay, you're busy with school." Jane pats my shoulder.

The door flew open and saw Rae Lin fumed. I immediately stood up as she stomped in and slammed her purse. She took her seat and sat. "Rae Lin—"

"I cannot believe I fell for that guy!" She crossed her arms and angry. Jane and I exchanged glances before talking to her. Rae Lin rarely gets mad at things or people. I think this guy had his ass on fire. "Who is it even?" Jane asked but Rae Lin just shook her head. "Doesn't matter." She pulled her plate as she took a slice of cheese cake.

"He said he's not interested but he kept on talking to me." Rae Lin stabbed the cake. The other customers were terrified of what was going on our table. "Well, what do you want to do for today?" I asked.

"I wanna eat~" There she comes, the cheerful Rae Lin. We ordered more cakes for her only. She was digging it so bad that the Manager of the cafe was worried and at the same time satisfied. My phone vibrated. I quickly opened my phone to see messages

unknown: hellooooo
unknown: areum-aaaah~

areum:
I don't know who
you are but fuck off

I replied and placed down my phone. Just a minute after I texted, the unknown number called. I sighed and took the call. Jane and Rae Lin looked at me directly.

"Listen I don't—"

"Areum, it's bad to swear." I suddenly covered my mouth. Jaemin's voice was stern than the usual.

"You should've introduced yourself in the text, you dummy!" I defended myself but I was surely embarrassed. I just cursed at one of the loving friends I have.

"I was sure you would know how I call you, Areum. You don't and now I'm hurt." He whines as my friends gets suspicious. "Is that Jaemin?" Jane's voice was clear enough to let the boy hear.

"You're with your friends?" He asks.

"Yes. Do you have anything to ask?" I wanted to end the damn call before my friends would initiatively fool around. "Just save my number as nanabby." Then he hang up.

"Who was that for real?" Jane's eyes was all over my phone. "Don't scream if I say his name." I warned.

She nods like a lunatic as she was preparing herself. Geez for just saying a dreamies name.""It was Jaemin." I said it slowly.
