after what seemed like forever to el and not enough time to will, they pulled up in front of the wheeler house.

"why don't you kids go say hi before you grab your bags" joyce suggested which el happily listened to but will on the other hand grabbed his bag not planning on saying hi.

"hey will are you okay?" jonathan said grabbing wills arm stopping him from entering the house.

"i'm fine"

will pulled himself from jonathan's grasp and opened the door to reveal nancy who wrapped him up in a big hug immediately and mike. of course mike didn't even notice that will arrived, none of the party had, they were all talking to el and giving her hug.

but then like the angel she is, max mayfield finally say will and ran over wrapping him in her arms. "oh god i missed you so much byers" she whispered.

she followed wills sad gaze over to mike and the others and frowned, "hey why don't i show you where your room is"

of course will already knew where it was but he couldn't stand to be around the others any longer. so he let max take his hand and lead him downstairs.

as he was leaving the kitchen he head mike call his name but will didn't stop or turn around.

"will?" max said softly as they walked down the hall to the room he would be staying in.

"are you okay?"

"i'm fine max"

"no you're not."

"i just miss eddie and the others that's all"

"okay...."

max mayfield then shoved open the bedroom door and threw herself on the bed.

"max" will spoke softly

"yeah?"

"why are you the only one who hasn't forgotten me"

"i- im sure they're just distracted"

"yeah sure"

max bit her lip unsure what to say.

"will what it i take you out to breakfast tomorrow, like something fun to do?"

"i'd love that"

"sounds good, see you later will" max said and then left the room quickly so will could get settled in.

will quickly pulled out his walkie talkie and tried to contact eddie.

eddie answered right away and will was finally slightly happy.

after about an hour of the two talking and ranting on wills part there was a knock on wills door.

"i have to go eddie"

"okay we'll talk later, i miss you"

"i miss you too"

whoever had knocked had grown inpatient and finally swung open the door to reveal a face will knew all too well.
