Hades and Persephone

As Persephone walked along in the green grass, with the wind tugging at her bright red hair she noticed a small bunny limping along

"Pour thing" she thought as the bunny struggled to get along "I could take it to Artemis, she could help it"

She slowly walks after it, not wanting to scare it anymore then it already is

The bunny seems to notice her and hops away quickly

She gasps and pulls up part of her long white tunic to prevent any tripping before she runs after the bunny

The bunny goes right into a wide valley and down a huge crack in the planet

Now Persephone didn't see this in time, she got to the top of the valley and lost her footing. She slips right down the side of the valley and all the way to the huge crack

She frantically tries to grab the end as she's falling down but can't

She lets out a scream as she falls down, down, down. Deep, deep, deep into the crack

Then suddenly she lands with a thud right on her bottom

She winces and groans as a dull pain aches through her bottom

It's completely dark except for a few torches

It looks very gloomy and a little spooky. She pulls her small shawl closer to herself to try and keep herself as warm as possible because a cool breeze blew through chilling her every now and then

She looks down to see where she is and notices she's on a boat, a small wooden boat with no other then her yet the boat was moving down the stream of ghostly looking water that seemed to take the shape of a human

A ghostly, water, hand reaches up and grabs the side of the boat. She gasps startled

Suddenly a loud growl and hot gust of breath causes her to turn around and come face to face with a massive dog with three heads. It was this dog that confirmed she was in the underworld

She swallows hard and gently puts out her hand "There, there. It's alright" she whispers trying to calm the growling dog

She stands on her tip toes and touches it's cold snout

The dogs vicious snarl turns into a happy puppy smile at the goddesses soft loving touch

Persephone smiles and rubs it's snout gently "Good puppy" she whispers softly even though she didn't have to whisper she felt as if she did

Knowing her plant-growing powers were helpless here she brushes some dirt off her tunic and into her hand

She takes a deep breath and thinking of a beautiful flower chain made from only the brightest most lovely flowers the dust began to quiver and flowers began to grow then braid itself into a long chain

She guided the flowers with a wave of her hand and they formed into three large flower chains

She used her mind to push the flowers forward and set them on each puppy head since she couldn't reach with her own hand

She smiles and lets out a beautiful, pearly, bubbly giggle that would lift anyone's mood

The puppy seemed very pleased with the flowers and sat with a great thud

She smiles and kisses her palm, she gently sets her hand on one puppies nose "Good boy, I'll be back" she promised even though she had no clue where she was headed but she was sure she wanted to see that adorable puppy again

The boat began moving again and she looked ahead of her but the sight was almost sickening

Many human were in pools of lava and fire, their screams echo loudly

Some looked just like the water but they were all collected in a huge pool and crying out Loudly begging things like, "Help! Spare us! Goddess have mercy!"

Their cries and yells were miserable, making her feel sad

Finally the boat came to a pathway lined with black stones and human bones

She got out of the boat and curiously walked up the path

It led her to a massive black marble castle, almost as majestic as Zeus's. Although this was different, this seemed gloomy and sadness hung in the air over the beautiful castle

There were a few gems and brilliant jewels set in the outside of the castle walls

Her in and telling her to go in

She slowly walk forward and walk into the castle

The inside is just like the outside, dark and completely black except for a few gems studded into the walls

There's a throne in the middle by the far wall and to the right are a set of stairs. Her eyes follow the stairs up to the top

There's a man with a large black fur cape and complete black outfit topped with a black crown of crystals that look like spikes

Her eyes meet the dark icey black ones of the man staring at her

She gasps and takes a small step back

He grins a cool icey grin that definitely was not showing he was happy, just that he thought of something quite sinister

"Persephone...." His deep voice calls to her

Hope you like the first chapter to my new story

I got the inspiration from a drawing I did, it reminded me of Persephone

Then my mind went off to how could I write a cool story?

Which reminded me I did a role play with someone that went a little like this a while ago!

Which I totally forgot about, but I'm glad I remembered
