Chapter 1: Got In

Kasumi's POV:
*start of dream/flashback*
I was running. I wasn't sure what I was running from, but I was running fast. Trying not to cry, I quickly turned a corner and continued to run until....I felt a sharp pain in my back. I screamed in pain and fell down. That's when I quickly took out of what was in my back. A knife. I started to tear up more but I knew I had to keep running. I stood up and ran again. Trying to hold the tears back, I ran out of the building. I heard someone screaming my name from behind.

"KASUMI! GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE BITCH!"

That's when a tear fell down my cheek. I almost fell multiple times but kept on catching myself. I kept running and running till I knew I was safe. When I stopped and was trying to catch my breath, I looked around and noticed I was in a little neighborhood or something like that.

That's when it hit me. I fell onto my knees with tears steaming down my face. I forgot about my bloody back. God damn, it hurt so bad. But then...

"Hey kid, are you okay?"

I quickly looked up at the person who said that. It was a man with black hair and tired eyes. He was wearing a scarf around his neck and black clothes. He bent down in front of me and analyzed my injury state.

"What happened, kid? Why are you bleeding? Where's your parents?" He asked me. All I could do is cry more. I didn't know what to say. The man sighs and scratches the back of his neck. Suddenly, he picks me up, carefully, not trying to hurt me.

"Come on. Let's get you cleaned up," he said as he carried me and continued to walk to path he was walking.

I had no words. I couldn't think of what to say. I was just glad that I was safe....
*end of dream/flashback*

I opened my eyes with the sun greeting my eyes. I covered my eyes with my arm and stayed there for a few minutes. Then I finally decided to get up. I grabs some clean clothes and make my way to the bathroom to take a shower. After I was done I tossed my dirty clothes in my basket then grabbed my phone and made my way downstairs. I see my dad on the couch watching the news.

"Good morning, Dad," I say grabbing a drink out of the fridge.

"Morning, Kasumi..." he said sleepily. Who am I kidding, he's always tired. "Theres breakfast in the microwave, you need to start waking up early, ya know?"

"Yeah yeah I know," I replied grabbing the food in the microwave. After I was done eating, I cleaned up my mess and joined my dad on the couch. "Anything happening around the city?" He shakes his head.

"Nothing but other villains getting taken down," he said.

"Hm..."I hum looking at the TV. Then the doorbell rings. Sighing, I stand up and walk to the door. I open it and see the mailman.

"Here ya go, miss," he says, handing me a envelope. I thank him and close the door then look at the envelope. It said UA in the corner of it. I knew it was for me. I walk into the livingroom and hold up the envelope infront of my dad's face.

"It's here," I said. He grabs and envelope and opens it. Then suddenly, a hologram of All Might, the number one hero, appeared.

"Young Kasumi Aizawa. You have passed the exam test! Congratulations!" he says. I turn around and start to walk upstairs.

"Hey, where are you going?" asked my dad.

"That's all I needed to hear. I got in and I'm not surprised. I'll be upstairs if you need me," I replied then walk towards my room. I smile to myself.

'I'm glad I got in... Finally, I can make my dream come true. Become the number one hero or at least top 5 and no one is going to stop me.' I thought to myself. I lay sot down at my desk and take out my sketchbook.

'Now, to continue my sketch...'
