Chapter 15

3rd Person POV:

It's the end of the day and Kasumi, Midoriya, Ochako, and Iida decided to walk home together. Shota had to stay in and do extra work so Kasumi got to walk home. They were talking about the Sports Festival until Iida asked a question.

"Say, why did you guys want to become heroes?"

"Oh, nothing really special. It was just my dream ever since I was little," Midoriya replies. However, Ochako seemed a little nervous, fiddling with her fingers and Kasumi noticed but said nothing. "Ne, how about you, Uraraka-chan?"

Ochako put her hand behind her back and started to stutter with her words. Kasumi then puts a hand on her shoulder. Ochako looked up at her. "If you don't want to say, then you don't have to. We'll understand," Kasumi says. She had no emotions on her face but she had a worried tone. Ochako thought for a moment then took a deep breath.

"I'll tell you guys," she finally says as Kasumi puts her hand back down. Ochako looked a little nervous and kept her gaze on the floor. "I actually wanted to become a hero for money.."

This surprising all 3 of them. Why would she do it for money? Before they could ask, she spoke up again.

"D-Don't get the wrong idea! I don't do it for a selfish reason!"

"Becoming a hero to make a living is not selfish at all," Iida says. Ochako decides to tell about her family.

"My family works in the construction business, but they barely anything that they need to fix so we are poor..." This made the 3 feel bad and is glad that she's doing it for a good reason. "That's why I will become a hero and earn lots of money do I can use it make the lives of my parents easier!" she says proudly.

"Wow, Uraraka-chan! That's amazing!" Midoriya says, with Iida and Kasumi agreeing. Ochako scratches the back of her head and gives a little smile.

"How about you, Kasumi-San? Why did you want to become a hero?" Ochako asked, making all the attention turn towards her. To be honest, she doesn't know the real reason why she wanted to become a hero. She just did. It was the only thing she thought of when she ran away. Kasumi thought for a moment because she didn't really want to tell her past and that Shota isn't actually her father.

"I was growing up thinking about it. Since my father is a hero, he inspired me to become one too. I trained, and trained, and trained to prepared myself for the challenges ahead..." she says, looking up at the sky. Okay, she didn't tell the whole truth but said a little.

'Amazing...' the 3 thought, as they were looking at Kasumi. Kasumi looked back at them and raised and eyebrow. "Is something wrong?" she asks. Before any of them could reply, someone else does.

"Nothing at all, Young Aizawa. You sound like an inspiration. You seem like you are already prepared for your future."

The 4 of them turns around to see All Might. They were surprised by this. Kasumi shakes her head and looks up at him. "Thank you for saying that, All Might, however, I am still far from becoming what I want to become."

All Might let's out his classic laugh and puts his hand onto Kasumi's shoulders. "I like your energy, Young Aizawa."

Kasumi just raises her eyebrows and gives him a confused look. All Might puts his arms down and looks at the others.
