Chapter 7: I'm not staying away from her

Kasumi's POV:
After me and Todoroki's battle, we went back to class before school ends. I put my head onto my desks and close my eyes. 'That was a little tiring...' I thought to myself. Then I was interrupted.

"KASUMI!"

I quickly open my eyes and sit up. I look up to see some of the girls around me. I raised an eyebrow at them as one of them began to speak.

"We are planning to have like a sleep over at one of our houses, do you want to come?" asked Tooru. I didn't know what to say. I was confused, sleepy, and at the same time, kinda excited.

"Sorry, I don't think I can. I have to train and study..." I say rubbing my eye. I got an 'Aww....' from them. I guess they really wanted me to come.

"Come on, Kasumi-San! It will be fun. We can study and train together maybe!" Ashido say with hope in her eyes. I stare at them for a moment then sigh.

"Fine, I'll come," I said leaning back in my chair. They all cheered and started to talk about what house we should go to. That's when I noticed Kaminari and Mineta 'spying' on our conversation. I rolled my eyes at their actions. Then Mineta came up to us.

"Hey ladies, do you mind if we come along?" Mineta said drooling. All of the girls had a disgusted look on their face as they look at him. I get up and walk between the girls and Mineta. I smiled and Mineta's grin just got bigger.

"Hey Mineta, do you mind if I beat your ass for that stupid question you just asked?"

Everyone's jaw dropped. I looked sweet until I asked the question. Mineta just started to walk away. I turn back to my emotionless expression as the bell rang. I grabbed my bag as everyone started to head out. I walked out of class then stopped when I got to the exit. I see my dad on his phone.

"Dad?" He looked away from his phone and towards me. "Why are you here? I thought you weren't here since All Might was the sub."

"There was a meeting that I had to go to, sadly," he replied as he put ilhis phone away. We started to go home as I tell him all about the Battle Trial.

Todoroki's POV:
I was shocked. How can someone look so innocent ask a dark question like that? Kasumi's face went back to her normal expression as the bell rang. I grabbed my bag and stood up. Everyone started to walk out. As I was about to do the same, I was stopped.

"Oi! Icyhot!"

I stopped and turned around to see Bakugou with his hands in his pockets, glaring. I glare back at him.

"Yes?" He looked kind of pissed- actually, he always looks pissed but just more. We keep staring at eachother for a few moments then he started walking towards me.

"Fucking stay away from Kasumi." he said bumping shoulders with me. He walked out of the class leaving me here alone with my thoughts.

'Kasumi? Why does he want me to stay away from her? What's the deal between them? They never even knew eachother.....did they?'

These questions kept running through my head. I sighed then walked out, thinking about what Bakugou told me.

~Next day~

Still Todoroki's POV:
I woke up this morning to see that it's time to get ready. I got dressed and brushed my teeth. I walk into the kitchen to see that Fuyumi already made breakfast.

"Ah~ Good morning, Shoto. Come eat something before school," she said sitting at the table. I nod and sit down then start to eat. After I was done, I was putting on my shoes and was about to leave until...

"Shoto."

That voice. Ugh, I hate it so much. I turn around to face my father with his arms crossed.

"You seemed distracted yesterday when you came home. Don't let anything bother you. Don't disappoint me," he says. I just roll my eyes and walked out the door. I start to walk to school, think about what my old man said. I seemed distracted yesterday? The thing Bakugou said to me yesterday did bother me a little... As I continued to walk to school, I heard a sweet voice call out my name.

"Todoroki?"

I turned around to see Kasumi. I was a little surprised. "Kasumi?"

"I knew it was you when I saw your candy cane hair," she said smiling. I raised an eyebrow.

"Candy cane hair?" She let out a small chuckle which was kind of cute....WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING?! I shake my head, getting rid of my thoughts.

"Do you mind if I walk with you to school?" she asked tilting her head a little. I shake my head again.

"No. I don't mind," I replied. She smiles again as we start walking to school. We were getting to know a little about eachother. She's really interesting. She has this vibe that gives me a mystery feeling. I snap out of my thoughts by her snapping her fingers in front of me. I look down at her and she has a emotionless expression but in her eyes, she was worried.

"You've been spacing out a lot. Are you okay?" she asks. I nod and look away.

"Yeah. I'm fine." It was quiet for a moment. When I looked back at her, she had a 'I know you are lying' face on. She then sighs.

"If there's something ever bothering you, just come and talk to me, okay?" she says. I was taken back by her sentence. No one ever told me that before. No one showed that they were worried and wanted to help except for Fuyumi. I nod and give her a small smile.

"Yeah, sure."

We continue to talk on our way to school and that's when I decided...

I'm not staying away from her.
